Microchip Just wondering if anyone can explain how this works? If your baby has a microchip and ends up getting stolen. I'm not sure why but I was thinking they could locate where baby is if there is a microchip in him/her. Is this not how it works?? |
If someone finds a dog they can take it to a vet who can then scan the dog and know exactly whos dog it is! Or worse case scenario someone takes your dog and you know its yours you can prove its yours with the microchip |
Because of where I work I know that many vet offices (at least here in OK) routinely scan pets for microchips and check them through a national database. Microchips, however, are not tracking devices. I sure wish they were! |
