Carrier blankets??? I just recieved my carrier and I wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what I can use for a blanket.......do they make actual carrier blankets for them or do I just have to use a baby blanket or something..... |

I just use, a little fleece blanket.You can get a little dog fleece blanket or baby blanket. That should do the trick! |
I was thinking maybe go to the fabric store and get a yard of fleece and maybe use that....I just didnt know if they make linings for the carriers? |

you know, its funny, i was actually thinking of making blankets that were carrier sizes. all the blankets i have have to be folded like 4 times to get them to fit into them and then she's smoooshed. |
My carrier is a deep red....I wish someone here made the carrier sized fleece blankets so I could get one to match.I think thats a good idea! I just bought a small baby blanket for now. |

graciegirl, the snugglies are the easiest blankets to make in the world. No sewing at all. Just two same size fleece (different colors work cutiest) cut same size strips about 4" all the way around, then tie one going one way and the next tie going the other direction. This way each side will have the opposite color strip. I did a couple red plaid on one side and white on the other. On the red plaid side it shows white strips and on the white side it shows the red plain strips. |
I saw some little fleece baby blankets at Deals for $1 each. I got a couple to put in thier car seats so they can snuggle in them. |

I also use a square of fleece for blankets. You can get two blankets from a yard of cloth. Or if you want one like is advertised in the catalog, you can take the two sections and lay one section on top of the other, cut about 2-3 inch slits about an inch apart. Tie each section (top & bottom) together in a knot until you have a fringe all the way around the blanket. If you want fancy, you could get a plain, complementing color for your bottom layer. The hobby and sewing goods stores were selling sets of cloth to make these blankets only larger (throw sized) just a couple of years ago. |
