Is Your Yorkie what u expected? Pita is absolutely everything I wanted her to be! I waited so long (5years) to get her and I got so lucky, she is perfect! She doesn't bark much, is very lovable, not too hyper, not snappy, healthy, the perfect size. Everything! I'm so lucky cuz my hubby would be so hard to live with if she wasn't so wonderful! She's my first Yorkie and I always wanted one. So I'm lucky she's so great! |
I really didn't know what to expect from Biddy - I kind of already knew her when I got her (she was my mom's dog), and she fit in great - but I didn't have any expectations. Tucker on the other hand- is EVERYTHING I ever wanted in a dog! He's sweet & cuddly, and doesn't bark too much. Plus he's so freaking cute!! LOL. Biddy is a joy & the love of my life - Tucker compliments our little family quite well ;) |
Both of my dogs are everything I wanted and waited for. Chachi is mischevious and playful. Jewels is a sweet little cuddler who will lay on your lap all day. I feel very lucky to have found not only one but two sweet natured dogs. |
Fred is pretty a little more than I wanted when it comes to energy-wise. He is so energetic and I wasn't expecting him to be that way! Other than that, I had no expectations but boy oh boy, I love that little rascal to death! |
While I did quite a bit of research on the breed before committing to getting Trace, I didn't expect quite the personality that he has. He is so smart, not to mention funny and adorably cute, (just realized I describe the perfect man...LOL). He doesn't bark either unless he's talking to me :) That absolutely melts my heart when he responds to my questions. |
Other than what the book said, I didn't know what to expect. She is a bit more hyper that I thougt she would be. I wouldn't trade her for anything though!! |
yup, times a zillion :p |
Mine are that and more....They are so much more than I dreamed and I waited 3 years for a yorkie.....I wouldn't change a thing about either of them...oh...except for Cheri screaming when I leave (upset) or when I come home (happy) - but I'm thinking it's a puppy thing...I hope. |
I got my first Yorkie when I was 16 and she was so much more than I exspected, way littler than I the breeder said she would be. I was told she would be about 5 1/2 lbs and she ended up 3 lbs 5 oz, but she was my baby and perfect. Lexi, I got in Feb. and she is my everything, I couldn't imagine my life with out her..... |
I had no expectations at all but I have to say that after over a year with these 2 I could not imagine my life without them in it! I was never a "yorkie lover" until I met Simon and now I wonder how I ever lived without one! |
I honestly expected Ranger to be a barker/yapper. He's definitely not a barker unless he senses danger or we encourge him to during play. That boy amazes me every day; he is so smart it's not even funny. I've been so impressed with him that we've decided to look for another, mostly for him to play with ;) . |
nala is nothing like i expected probably b/c i didnt pick her out. she was a suprise xmas gift from my boyfriend who didn't know what to look for when picking a yorkie. BUT i wouldn't trade her for the world. i expected a little dog 5-6lbs, nala is 9-10lbs and a lil terror, lol. but i love her more and more each day!! |
Everything I wanted and more! I waited for my baby for about 5 years, so I am thrilled with him! Now, if he would learn to go potty outside and stop the constant barking  ....he would be perfection! I will wait for perfection since he is still a baby! lol |
Mya is a dream. I really didn't expect her to be so balanced. I think she has all the good qualities of the past dogs I have had. She is friendly to all people and other animals She is smart and obeys She is not "yappy" She travels well She is playful yet mellow She is so funny like our other dog "Comic" We have had Poms, s**tzus and mixed breeds. Everyone that has known our other (some foster)dogs has said she is the best by far. People often say they are impressed with her. I am very impressed by this breed. no ......... toby isnt what i expected.... he is much much more :p When we got toby we were told he was going to be 6 lbs, and i was tempted NOT to get him because of the small size :( well..... i got him, and he GREW, he is the LARGE yorkie that i wanted, he is fearless and LOVES to play (which my fiance likes) he is a major cuddlebug and is all about mommy (which is what i like) it didnt take a year to train him, he learns fast, and is a great alarm for getting up in the morning and a door alarm for anyone that approaches the door |
Alex is everything I was looking for. He is my baby and my shadow. He goes everywhere he can with me and appears to absolutely love it. He is wonderful...quiet, sleeps well, cute, eats fairly well, never was a sassy puppy... He is in my eyes perfect!! :D |
Luigi is sooooo much better than what we expected!!!!! But the 1st thing. when we bought him, our breeder said that he was going to be a bit bigger than the average size. Probably 8 or 9 lbs. Which I was soooo much happier about because I really didn't want a real small one that I would step on or roll over on, etc!!!!! Well he is now 8 monthes old and and the vet said he is full grown now and only weighs in at 5lbs and 5 ounces!!! But I love him all the same!!!! We also thought that we were going to have a tough time housebreaking and stuff, but he has been such an angel!!! So good, no accidents, no biting, no chewing stuff-- nothing. Only his toys!!!!!! He is sooo full of energy and such a bundle of joy!!! My hubby loves him to death too.!!!!! Which I had tooo beg and beg him to even consider getting a puppy!!! He too is sooo ahppy!!!! He brings us sooo much happiness and laughter to our hearts!!!!!! :yorkiesar :yorkiesar |
When I bought Zsa Zsa , the breeder told that she was to be 5 pounds but in real life she end up at 3 pounds . For Jade , I really don't have had any expectations about the weight . I wanted her to be healthy and she is . |
My yorkies are much more than I expected. I had no idea how much love they would give me and how much fun I would have with them.. They are constantly showering me with love and kisses or entertaing me with their crazy ways.. lol |
They are all that and more too. I just love them and they love us. Stardust is a holy terror right now but hope she grows outta that. Missy is always bringing me presents a mole , mouse, hamster oops. she wasnt suppose to do that. BoBO is my little love bug. he gives me kisses nite and morning. he will speak to me. wears his pj's to bed .. mindy and poo are wonderful also. they want love and give love in return. |
Lexi is everything that i had ever hoped, dreamed, or imagined and much much more. :happyboun I have wanted a yorkie for years now, however circumstances didn't allow me to have one. I have had lexi almost 7 weeks now; I can't imagine life without her. :aimeeyork She is playful, but not too playful, doesn't bark, lovable beyond belief, and so adorable. :littleang She brings so much joy to my husband and I. Life is great. Lexi is 14 weeks this week. She is our first child, we are newly married...she is so spoiled by both of us, its kinda sick. |
Maddie is everything I expected and more! I saved money for a long time and sold things on ebay, but still could not afford most prices for yorkies. One day while talking to a friend a couple of hours from me, she said she would check around her area for yorkies. She called back to say she'd found a breeder that had babies and they were $400! I jumped in my car and my daughter, grandkids and I went there that same day and it was love at first sight for sure. I don't know how I ever survived without her. My husband is a hard man to live with and life can get quite depressing...but Maddie has given me a lift like I've never experienced before! I love her to pieces! |
