Toy Box 2 Attachment(s) I wasn't a big toy fan... I always wanted to give one toy at time to Haruka... When it gets dirty then I threw them away. Well.. when I visited Patti's house, Cali and Maya and a toy box and Haruka went crazy with it. She started digging and played with many toys.. So as soon as I came back, I put the toy box for her with all the toys I had. (most of them were gifts though..) I don't know if it was a good idea :D.. she started digging and digging and taking all the toys out. Now I have to see if I can train her to put them all back!! I doubt it though.. Anyone has any toy box stories? Here are pics of Haruka trying to make mess at Cali and Maya's toybox.. |

Tansy has 3 toy boxes now, all overflowing........mind you she has had 11 years to collect them. She has one in the sitting room, one in the bedroom & one even bigger in the hall :) She knows some of them by name, so if you say, " Get the blue squeaky, or get your goose," she goes & brings the right one. Out of about 40 :rolleyes: toys I would say she knows the name of about a dozen. |
Those pics are so cute!!! I just emptied the toy box before Michiko and Haruka came and donated them. |
Wow, Meggie, that is amazing:eek: :thumbup: Smart girl you got there:D My girls have a toybox, it's a plastic bone-shaped one with a lid. I like the idea of using an old bed, though, much softer:thumbup: I have to leave the plastic one turned on it's side so little Luna can reach the toys:laugh: I think it's so cute when they dig in there, just like a little toddler:) |
Kitty has several toy boxes too. She will pick her toys up too. Most of the time she will only get one or two out then put them away when she's done with them and get something else out. I don't know how I trained her to do it she's just always done it. I wish I could teach my kids to pick up now.:rolleyes: LOL! |
1 Attachment(s) Those are cute pictures. Good luck in training her to put them back though! Buddy has lots of toys and ignors all of them except this rubber clown. He only carries that one around contantly and I bought anouther just in case it wears out. It's been 2yrs already. |

Aww how cute, my 2 take their toys out every day and scatter them all through the house, we step on squeaky toys all the time ,about giving my Mom a heart attack, as she thinks its the dogs :rolleyes: House is allways a mess, worst then when my kids where little:eek: |
2 Attachment(s) Here is our toy box. Half the toys aren't in it but there are still quite a few in it. My little ones don't put their toys away but my cocker spaniel Peppi will put the toys away if you ask her to. |
Grayson has a basket and he will dig until he finds what he wants, just have to teach him to put them all back lol |

You know I think it's like kids , they love playing with other dogs toy's even better than they like their own!!LOL |
