:eyetearss Same here she'll run to him 1st. I guess thats the way it it is with pups and sometimes even kids.;)

Both of my girls (AND Starr before them) prefer Daddy:cry:

It's probably cuz we do all the mean things like the vet and the grooming, etc.

Grayson is totally mommy's boy but my cats are daddy's girls! And I do everything for all the animals

oh...I feel your pain. even my cocker who I have had for 6 years and it has always just been me and her and my daughter...my hubby comes into the picture and suddenly, she favors HIM. I got so hurt at first, because Daisy and I have been through so much. but I think it is because I am the "pack leader" in the house...I am the one who makes the doggie rules and enforces them. He just sits around and gives treats when they go potty. even though our 2 oldest are 6 and 10..they still get treats for going out to potty. heck, Daisy (cocker) even sits outside the bathroom door when he is using the can. blows my mind. anyway...they all favor him. I told him when I got maggie that he is not allowed to be her favorite. that he is to LEAVER HER ALONE!!! hehe. so he is always encouraging maggie to "go see mommy". he only holds her once in a while. so he is trying :) but yes, I do understand very well where you are coming from here. This is why I take maggie EVERYWHERE i go...work, store, bank, ANYWHERE. so that she is around me more than him. hehe.

Same here! lol Only here, it's our mix, "Mozart". I think he thinks dh needs a potty pal??

Well, up until today, actually, she's been MY dog. <ssshhhh :secret:she doesn't know she's a d-o-g > And, I don't know what happened during the night; but, she woke up in a snit w/me. No greets "good morning"...walked right past me to dh. Won't play with ME - goes around me to take toy to dh. If I'm sitting on the sofa, she'll get up on my shoulders. Today, travelled along the back of the sofa, PAST me, to get into dh' lap in the recliner! :cry8:

I told her: "this had better be a 'daddy's girl' phase!" :p

I get attention but as soon as daddy comes in she's jumping for joy. I'm her favorite till day comes in the room:p

LOL!!!!! sound like my boy. He is such a rotten spoiled brat. When daddy comes home he is beside himself and just wants to be with HIM :p

I have a daddy's girl too. When he gets home from work, it's all about daddy! Thank god, because I have already thrown that ball 100 times today, it's daddy's turn:p

lol I hear that! Abbie's thing is squeaky toys. She'll bring one to me (usually when I'm the most busy) and place it where I can't ignore it. If I don't respond right away, she'll pick it up and replace it on me, like - "OK, maybe you didn't see it - here." So I throw it just to get it out of my way! Can we say "mistake"? lol She's absolutely relentless in her pursuit for attention!

Well, seems I am back in her good graces :). There are the cutest tops that say 'Daddy's Girl'. Guess we need to get one for when they're in a mood ;) :p

When I got Ginger, the breeder said "if you get a girl, she will attach to your husband, a boy will attach to you". Fortunately, since I am the one who gets up to make them breakfast, they are mostly attached to me, but if my husband is around and available, the traitorous female is with him, but my loving boy is with me. . .

:lol tears Man, I can SO relate to that!!! I feed Gabby, bath her, brush her, give her treats, but when her daddy is home, she wants nothing to do with moi!!! Gage, on the other hand, is definitely a momma's boy:)
