do you get hugs? I was just wondering...Buckeye gives me actual hugs. He actually stands there, tilts his head down, leans his head into me and presses against me. This will last up to a full minute. I have never seen a dog do that before and he then looks at me as if to say "I love you". Does any one else get these kind of hugs? There is such a bond between Buckeye and I that I sometimes feel Ahia is getting slighted. She is by no means neglected but she is closer to my husband than me. |
That's good that each of you has a 'favorite', so none will be slighted. Yoda presses up to us as well, it's like a little boy giving us love. :) |

Tish also hugs but she does it to my legs. She will stand and wrap her legs around mine and looks up at me. I have to say though she is a big kisser. She will be doing her thing ,get up and run over, kiss me then run back to what she was doing. They sure are sweethearts....... |
Yes. Otis often nuzzles Mike's chest/neck area like a little baby. He doesn't do it too often to me, though, because I think my boobs are in the way. |
Maddie is a hugger. Rudy isn't, he likes to give his lovin on is own terms. Like I have posted on other threads my two are so different. I don't know if it is the order I got them or just there personalities. They warm my heart when I can hold them and give them some lovin :D ...........Cindy |
Toto is a hugger too! Expecially if she is sleepy, tired or scared. She immediately snuggles her little face into my neck and won't let go! It's so sweet! ;) |
Yep, Shcatzie is a hugger too. And also loves to kiss. That tounge of theirs sure is quick!! I just don't know what id do without all her hugs/kisses :p |
I just say to Gypsy Rose "two arms around my neck" and she reaches up her arms for me to pick her up and round my neck they go. She either snuggles in or it's "nose to nose" - she just stays there for ages like this and although it sounds strange this is such a relaxing feeling! Great for stress!! |

I get lots of hugs and kisses from sebastain my son also that is how i wake my son up in the morning i let sebastain in his room and he licks him to death lol Jasmine likes to give kisses but not much she would rather sit in my lap and sometimes if i kiss her she will nip at my nose. I think sebastain has bonded more with me then jasmine has she is much more indapendant he is more needy. |
I don't know if this is the same thing, but when we are laying down Gabby will lay on my shoulder and cuddle her little head into the area by my kneck. She will just sleep cuddled like that for hours (I love it), and I feel comforted. She is a cuddlebug and will let me carry her around for long periods of time and she just cuddles right in. I read in a couple of places that male yorkies bond better to female humans and vice versa and from what some of you say this sounds very true. I was just wondering what you think. I was nervous to get a girl because of this, but since I live alone her only choice is me :). |
Toto loves to wake "Papa" in the morning!! Sometimes he will keep his eyes shut and she begins slowly licking his eyelids!! :) It is toooo funny!! ;) |
