my little lola is in her second heat, and she just tried to hump my arm!:eek: i know males do this, but female??? is this normal??:confused: [/COLOR][/COLOR]

Yes it's normal before and during their heat.

My little Georgia has been spayed and will hump our 20 lb. dog sometimes...it's a riot! I think it's a dominance thing.

My Maggie did that very often. She was spayed as a pup and she was still doing it at 11 yrs.

yeah, why do they do this after they have been spayed? Carley was spayed at 6 months and now is almost a year old. She goes to town on the blanket all the time, we call it the "Carley Wiggles". But, why does she do this? Cooper was neutered at 6 months too, and never does this. :confused:

thanks!:) . should i allow her to do this? will this go on once her heat is gone? (i grew up with male toy poodles) and i know of a dog that humps everything and every one!, i dont want her being like that,

My SIL has a min poodle and she does this ALWAYS it grosses me out. SHe has done it for years, MY SIL ignored her thinking it would stop and it didnt . NOw she jsut is always humping her leg, I am sure this is not the norm but everytime I look at my SIL that dog is humping her leg. ;

I'm so glad I'm not alone and was actually thinking about posting this same question. My Pia doesn't do it often but it started after she was spayed?? I've noticed it happens when she gets really excited. She has a special pillow, LOL!!:cool:

Misha has never done this, but Piper after being spayed started. I talked to the Vet & she said it was normal. Their testosterone level is higher, from having their female organs taken out. Causing them to act like a male.

Mimi humps Timmy everytime she can. I think she is showing him who's the boss. Everytime I catch her doing this I make sure she knows this is unacceptable.
