It seems to me that only women post on this group. I know some of you are married/living with significant others, etc., but I never see men post.

Do you think Yorkies are mostly dogs that women love?

I just know of Dan (fasteddie) around here that's a man and he runs the place! lol
Other than that, I only see guys walking big, humungo dogs. I think guys should start carrying lil' ones.. easier way to get girls! haha

There's also "Bakerman" whose baby Sedrick fell down stairs & had surgery recently. I think that most all of the women who post have a husband/significent other who love their Yorkie as much as they do! :) My Patrick doesn't post because he has so many other interests but he loves Toto as much as I do. :cool:

I agree with Bettyeanne, I think most SO's are just as crazy about our Yorkies. My husband doesn't have the time or desire to spend in forums. He has to work to support me and the human and fur pups, hehe!!!

There's more men than you know posting on yorkie forums...I know my husband loves the girls as much as I do - he's the one who talked me into getting a sister for Chanel...now that we have Cheri - I want more !

My dad (second wind) posts sometimes but not a lot. He's completely head-over-heels for our Yorkie.

Men and Yorkies
 
My hubby carries one of our yorkies around like it was his baby. He sleeps with him in the chair, kisses him when he comes home. You name it. My hubby is a big softie for my yorkies.

I have only heard of three guys, fasteddie, the man with the yorkapoo (Bill A, I think) and Harbinger...

My boyfriend doesn't have the time to post on forums. But he always laughs at me when he sees me on... spendin more time with you guys then him..lol.. ;) He loves Alex so much, I never thought that I would see that. He has always had big dogs, so Alex is his first little dog. He will call to talk Alex or tell me to give him kisses and that they are from him. My father is also in love with Alex. Alex is like his grandchild. It is so funny to see Alex with these two men, because they are always fussing and cooing over him. Then they yell at me for spoiling him.. :P

I am here but not as much lately, I post a lot more than my wife does. But lately I have not had the time to get on that much. But I do love YT and all it offers!

The funniest thing happened with us...when we first got Bo he was so tiny and so cuddly. I started calling him the baby puppy. Well, my husband and son were just appalled with that. No way was their boy dog gonna be called that. Now they both regularly call him that. It cracks me up when my husband comes home from work and says, "Oh, there's my baby puppy!!" LOL!

My husband tells his single friends the same thing. I think some men like small dogs but the majority likes big ones that is why i love my hubby he loves animals no matter what size.

My boyfriend is registered here, his name is Hercules Dad. He doesn't post too much, but I know he's on here reading quite a bit. He loves our yorkies, the second one is technically his, he payed for her!

I am lucky too because my husband loves the yorkies as much as I do. Well....maybe not as much as I do.....lol.....pretty he loves them a lot!! Here he is trying to be macho (growl) while holding Hefner! Taken yesterday.

Men have a very soft spot for these wind up toy babies. My husband fusses over Maggie like his little princess. I even ordered her a t-shirt that says Daddy's Little Princess. My husband is a rancher, so I guess he would rather head to the coffee shop at the stockyard cafe with our heelers than with Maggie. However, a couple of his coffee drinking buddies have Yorkies and go everywhere they go. You had better not say one sissy word about their babies in the pickup trucks or there will be hell to pay.

It's not fair I showed my Grumpy Old Man a T Shirt for Pip which said Mommy loves me - Daddy tolerates me and he said I should buy it :(

Just because Pip gets upset if GOM is within ten feet of me doesn't mean he doesn't love daddy too......does it? HaHa

My dad is in love with Stewie. My step dad loves him more than me sometimes ;)

My husband Ken cried as much as I did over Bandit. He is the one pushing for another Yorkie. Whenever I'm on he comes over to read over my shoulder, but he's computer-illiterate!
My daughter also just signed up for the forum, she's MeganS, keep an eye open for her!

My husband loves my yorkies as much as I do, and he spoils them even more than I do, and I spoil them A LOT! We both always had big dogs, and we didn't think too much about little dogs. But when I got the chance to get mine, they were so cute, I couldn't resist! And boy, am I glad I got them! They have changed our lives. They RULE! My husband has other forums he goes too, mostly detective stuff, so that is why he doesn't come on here. :thumbup: :D

I think love their dogs as much as women but posting cute little things just isn't most guys style. I notice when I do see a guy post, it's usually to ask or answer a specific question. No cutesy stuff for them in the public eye.

My boyfriend loves Yorkies - he loves all dogs, but prefers little ones. He's not a YT member - but he does read over my shoulder from time to time.

We were laughing yesterday because he was carrying Tucker & he had him under his arm & he kept moving Tuck around & switching arms & stuff. I asked him what was the matter & he said "There's just no masculan way to hold a Yorkie". I guess not!

Hello. Just thought i would let everyone know im also one of the guys. I have 9 yorkies.We have 6 that sleep with me and my wife. We started 5 years ago with 1, it was her valentines day gift from me. We were hooked and now have 9 babies.They are from10 months old to 5 years old. They range from 10 lbs to 3.5 lbs. i would trade them for anything in the world. My wife cant have babies so they are our babies.SPOILED ROTTEN.We raise 2 litters a year to help with vet cost, and the doggie needs.
