Layla went to the groomers :( 3 Attachment(s) well this is the last time i let my mom take layla to the groomers.. i even wrote the lady a note about what i wanted.. just some length taken off... my mom gets there and says...we want it short... well needless to say layla will not be going outside in the snow much (she LOVES the snow) so here are the pictures.. i didn't want to post them because i think she looks foolish.. but here is the place to do it i guess. i think layla knows she looks funny.. it breaks my heart... she is now wearing a sweater 24/7 and we are bringing out the fleece pj's! the first two are "before" and the last one is... well.. now... |
Poor baby. Now she is worried that all of the other Yorkies are going to make fun of her. She looks sad in her picture. I would have been sooooo mad. She is still beautiful of course, but just not in the way you would have wanted. |
po baby! that is awful! why would the groomer do that. especially in the winter!! i hope grows back quick.:D |

I had an experience like that with Gracie and it SUCKS! Layla has such a beautiful face though I think she's pulling off the look very well. |

This is why I am terrified of having Bobbi's hair cut by any groomer. I 'dream' of a long coat... However, your baby is BEAUTIFUL regardless!!!!!! |

Well at least it will grow out and you can thank your lucky stars that they didn't shave any of her face! I took a photo of what I wanted in with me to the groomers and came back to a shaved furbaby! |

LOL! Sorry I had to laugh because Kodak was cut down like this during the summer. She's still looks cute and she still has her beard, just a bit Nekkid.:) At least the groomer didn't put an ugly bow on her like she did Kodak in my post from the other day.:( |
I know exactly how you feel. I had a similar experience back in September with my Scruffles except it was the Groomer's fault. Not only did he shave him, including his face and he looke like a baby chi, but he also cut him very badly and Scruffles required stitches. What I can tell you is that luckily, his hair grew back very quickly and he didn't care about the way he looked. Actually, he was more aerodynamic with less hair!;) Anyway, Layla is beautiful regardless and although it's hard to get past the way she may look now, you'll get used to it.:) |
Aw, poor little girl. But yes, she is still beautiful - it just makes her head look a little large. Good thing she is so pretty. I'll remember not to get Tinkerbelle cut that way. Sorry, but your misfortune is my education.;) |
