Willing to try another product? My yorkie has a cottony coat & it always looks so puffy & dull & he appears fat .. . oh no not the "F" word :D ......... I've tried Johnson's No More Tangles, Ice on Ice, Glo Coat, etc. etc.....even Cowboy Magic w/ little or no improvement. I decided to try a product I already had in my bathroom & it's wonderful!! ...... His coat lays down flat, no oily residue, & his coat is softer than i ever imagined :yay_jump: Four days later it's still soft,& that's a first for us. Drum roll please......... It's John Freida Daily Nourishment Leave in Fortifying spray....... It's in an 8oz. spray bottle & looks like milk , spray the coat well when using......I know....I know .....it's a human product & thats a no, no but it works for us :D |
1 Attachment(s) That is great that you found something that works for your yorkie!!! Now we need pictures of the little guy!! Just keep an eye on the skin and hair after continued use. Sometimes with human products it works great the first few times you use it but then it starts really drying out their skin. I use Cowboy Magic too. I also use sea breeze oil which has worked out so great for me. But the thing that made the biggest difference was the Missing Link supplement. Scampers hair is thick, and it use to look all poofy and it was dry and dull. After a month using it, I saw improvement. And now his hair lays down flat and is silky and shiny. Here is an after picture of Scampers, wish I had a before picture but I don't. Ignore his ends, the was right before I trimmed him up because you can see the ends of his hair needed trimmed off really bad. I hope this product continues to work for you and we would love to see pictures!! |
His hair is beautiful!!... If his coat is cottony you would never know it by that photo. I will get some missing link, I've heard wonderful stuff about it. Thanks for the reminder :) |
