Mine is named Pebbles, from the Flinstones. It is what I thought of when I pictured her with a bow in her hair. Though I haven't been able to get her to wear one yet (she is still young). Joe |

Simon is named after Simon Cowell from American Idol :) He's handsome and talks a lot of smack------just like my Simon! I was going to name him Emmitt after Emmitt Otters Jugband Christmas (my favorite movie) but he wasn't an Emmitt! Hallie cam to me with her name and she was 2.5 so I didn't want to change it on her but sometimes I call her Hallie Berry b/c she's so pretty! |

We actually call Hobbs, Mr. Hobbs. He is named after the movie Mr. Hobbs Takes a Vacation. Hootie is just a random name. |
1 Attachment(s) We have a Finnigen, named after the dog Finnigen on Mr. Dress Up. Mr. Dress Up was the best (Canadian) Children's show of all time. Anyone who is older than about 25 will remember Casey and Finnigen from Mr. Dress Up. (My cousins have a cocker spaniel named Casey.) Well on the show, Finnigen never talked, he would whisper in Casey ear and then Casey would talk for him. He was the cutest little grey puppet dog and a huge part of most Canadian children's childhood. When people ask my dog's name and I tell him, I either get strange looks and "Finni - what" or they smile and proclaim "I loved Finnigen when I was a kid". Logan is named after the Wolverine in the x-men movies (Wolverine's human name is Logan) My mom's dog is Emma Rae after Julia Roberts sister in Something to talk about. Mom I loved her in that movie. |

My youngest Yorkie is 1 year old. His name is Carson. Carson Palmer is the Cincinnati Bengals Quaterback. My groomer had never heard of a dog named Carson untill me, now she says she has 3 other "Carson's " that she grooms. What do you think of a Yorkie named Carson? |
I had really planned to name my Yorkie Zoe, I love that name, but the breeder I selected only had two boys. She was by far the best place I found and if I got a dog, I wanted it to be one of hers. While pondering the decision, of dog ownership, a movie with Frank Sinatra called Pal Joey came on. In the movie, he buys a little dog for Kim Kovak I've always loved Sinatra, and this was my epiphany. I'd get a dog and name him Joey (rhymes with Zoe) . When I found out that Joey was born on my deceased father's birth, I knew he was the one for me. When telling the breeder the name I selected, she said that was her husband and son's name. Chills went up my spine. Getting Joey was the best decision I ever made. Nancy |
Trixie was named after one of the dogs mentioned in Lady and the Tramp. ("What about Fifi? And Trixie? And Rosita whatever her name was?") Kasey's name is Kasey Diddimus....after the Yorkie Sir Diddimus in the movie Labrynth. Flash, our Bassett is named after the Dukes of Hazzard Flash. |
We wanted a different name with a K so I named mines Kodak after the camera company. I was watching a the camera's commercial and when we saw him he was PICTURE PERFECT so it fit him. I know that's not a movie star, but just wanted to join in.:) {{{{{{scrambling}}}}}} out this post before the Kodak company sues us.:D |
We named Joey after Joey on Friends. Both are so funny! My son picked Emilee and Gidget is from the movies with Sally Field and another actress. Penny our Golden is because my son thought she looked like a copper penny. |

I wanted to name him after Vin Diesel's character Riddick in the "Chronicles of Riddick" movie. Riddick just didn't seem to fit him so we named him after the actor.... Vin DIESEL.. LOL |

We got the name "Zeus" from the mythology god. I also thought it would be adorable to have such a small little boy named Zeus!!! :p |
My Daisy wasn't really named after a character....but I LOVE Daisy's (the flower) they are very strong - last a really long time and are beautiful all at the same time.... and my little Daisy turned out to be true to her name as she was very sick when I got her... but very strong, hung in there and is beautiful.:daisy: However... we are currently looking for a boy... his name will be JACK... after Jack Johnson (singer) he did the sound track for Curious George - when is the most recent thing I think he's done.!!! |

Sawyer is named for that beautiful, bad boy Sawyer on Lost the tv show. They are alot alike; always thinking up something wicked, and so very very easy on the eyes.LOL;) |
