Rosie seeing a baby for the first time My friend brought her 9 month old baby to our house. It was the first time Rosie was around a baby. I was so nervous that she would jump on him, but I was wrong. She was being so sweet. She would crawl up to the baby and roll on her back. Does anyone know why she acted so differently around the baby than she does with adults? |
I dont know , But my two did the same thing with my Grandbaby, That was the first baby they had been around too. I think they just know. They also acted like they knew some thing was up when my daughter was pregnant and would snuggle with her bump . lol |
Awww, how sweet:) |
most dogs know the difference in children and adults |
I beleive it is just instinct.. they just "know" |
I was suprised by the way she acted. She always jumps on people. |
That's so sweet! I think dogs can tell the difference. Whenever my cousin brings her twins over the yorkies are really calm. and Rusty gets protective of them. |
awww that's so cute. They just know, Teddy acts the same way around kids, he lays on his back. |
All three of our dogs (2 yorkies & a westie) act very sweet and calm around my little 7 month old great-granddaughter. They always have. They have never tried to jump on her like they do the older kids. They just love her and mostly want to sniff her. She always smells so sweet and smells like "baby magic baby lotion" That's the best smell in the world so I don't blame them for wanting to sniff her. Jasmine wants to lick her but we don't have to worry about them hurting her in any way. Their instinct must tell them. |
She is acting like that because she knows that the other one is a baby . My Yorkies have different attitude when they meet a puppy or an adult . I never saw one of mine attacking a puppy . |
