Oh!My!GOSH!!!! Someone just linked this site on another thread, and I clicked, cuz I always like to enjoy the pics of the TRULY adorable little yorkies there. ;) Well, look at this page: http://www.mylittlemia.com/precious.html !!!!INCREDIBLE!!!!! |
Gosh! That can NOT be the same baby was my first though. |
You can do a search, that's Brittie123's(I think that's her username) dogs. Yep, they're cute and she does't recommend getting a tiny if you read her site. |

LOL Jiggy - that link was to Precious - her mom lives in England and they rescued her in the snow - thought she was a Chinese Crested and when all her hair grew in it turned out she was a yorkie.... It's an AMAZING Story and sad too - she was thrown out like garbage after someone was done breeding her. She is one of my favorite rescue stories..... Here's the link you meant to post - http://www.mylittlemia.com |
No....Precious is what I meant to post! ;) I should have clearly indicated that it was a rescue story! :D I think I was still a little rocked by the pics! |
That is an amazing rescue story |

The Story of Precious hit me so hard the day I read it back when they first found her I ended up crying my eyes out...I've been writing her mom for a long time now & have permission to share her story and pictures - She is now happy...healthy, and just a beautiful little yorkie...but it was a long road for her...she has phobias etc. but the best family who love her dearly. I'm posting this for Jiggy but THIS is Precious now - This is Christmas I think 2 years ago now - but isnt this the most awesome picture ??? |

Anytime people can see what LOVE does for a dog it's a good thing !! Go Jiggy !! |
Absolutely incredible!!! How DIFFERENT her life is now! That's what my mom always says about Mazie too, but oh my gosh....THIS before/after contrast is just staggering! |

Wow, what an incredible transformation. Sure makes you wonder about all the others who haven't been saved. Can't imagine people being so heartless. Great picture, Villette, wonderful idea for Christmas card. Nancy |

OMG:cry: It never ceases to amaze me how cruel some people can be:( At the same time, it's also amazing how kind and loving others can be:love: Precious is so lucky that she was found and saved, I wonder how many other dogs that rotten evil thing has thrown away:mad: Did they ever discover who did it? |

I laughed when I read that 2 year old link I just posted - it reminded me so much of how upset I used to get and cry over stories like that - my husband actually tried to BAN me from reading stories like that ! He told me I got too involved lol - here I am 2 years later and I still cry reading them..... we compromised :D :D :D - he ended up giving me big box of kleenex for my computer.... |
Yeah, I need to stop reading stories like that too, but just can't help myself:o I guess I need a good cry, and to be reminded of how lucky I am;) I have a family sized box of Kleenex at my puter:laugh: |
Oh my good that is just horrible... Thank the lord she's ok now.:( |
Thanks V! I followed all the links, and read everything that would still pop up! WHAT an incredible story! (I keep using that word, but it's just so true! :p) My sons came in while I was looking at these. My oldest sd. softly, "Mama, what happened to that poor little dog??" And really....how do you explain to children how ANYONE would let this happen to an animal??? But then we got to look at all the wonderful "after" pictures, and talk about how she has such a good and loving home now where she is happy and safe. And my son left the room saying, "Yeah, that's the good thing about rescuing an animal". :) And gosh, Precious should be the POSTER CHILD for rescue dogs!!! Who ever would have IMAGINED that she would be the gorgeous girl she is today?! The pictures showed what a process it was, and God bless those good people for sticking with her and transforming her life. What inspiration for the rest of us, when we see some of those pitiful dogs on Petfinder! |
I read that story a while ago and I'm so happy Precious has found the most perfect home for her. That picture you posted V is so beautiful. |
How sad.......... Oh my gosh. What wonderful people those folks are for finding a stray dog like Precious and knowing everthing that was wrong with her still chose to take her in and spend all of that money to make her better. I will be honest with you, I dont know that I would have done the same. It takes a very very special person to do something like that no matter the cost for an animal you just found and had no real attachment to. God Bless them for saving Precious and for giving her some happiness in what seemed to be a pretty miserable life she had led up until then. I hope they find the person that did that to her and hang her by the ______. V, is Precious cancer free now and reasonably healthy? Barb |
Wow. I can't believe this. How could someone do that to a dog? That is sad, but a happy ending. |

Precious is WONDERFUL. Her mom still sends me pictures and updates. ....She is a far far cry from that little near dead dog they found in the snow. :( :( I get chills even talking about her because of what she went thru but she'll never know hate and abuse again. She is very loved and doing VERY WELL even with her 3 little teeth she has left - she's learned to overcome what evil humans did to her. EDITED TO ADD This baby STYLIN in her Birthday Sweater |
Poor sweet baby! OH, that poor little girl! What a terrible life until her new mommy and daddy found her! Bless that little girl...she looks happy now, what amazing people to rescue her like that, sparing no expense! Another wonderful Yorkie can enjoy her life! |
Thats an amazing and heartfelt story! |
Amazing transformation! What a beautiful site! |
That Is Awesome....they Are So Lucky To Have Her As Well As She Is So Lucky To Have Them |
