Major thunderstorm!!!! Luigi is starting to act scared and shaking a little. There are major thunderstorms about an hour west of us!! I think he is sensing those. He's never been thru a storm yet, I hope he's ok!!! I don't think he's seen lightning or heard thunder before!!! :eek: I hope we don't lose power--I need my YT!!!!! hahahaha :p :p |

Poor little guy - Some yorkies really get scared ...i have the opposite with one of mine - she wants to race out into the storm and chase rain....When they get scared like this - lots of times if you just act normal and try to get them to play and do something to take their mind off it - they may not be afraid in time of the storms....It's heartbreaking to see them shaking !! |
He is running around like a wild man! And keeps looking out the window!!!! And he's letting out a little whine, not barking, like a little cry!! :eek: |

Oh I feel so bad for you! My little Tino hates thunderstorms and fireworks...anything that goes "boom!" He starts with the running around and then when the thunder starts he starts scooting on the floor. I always just take him in the bathroom and turn the overhead fan to try to drowned out the noise and hold him. I hope your baby is okay! |
Oh poor little guy! Simon is so scared of thiunderstorms he hides under the bed and shakes! I can just imagine him standing at the window whimpering ;( |
Storms on its way lightly thundering and Luigi will not leave my lap and i feel him gripping or pushing in my legs which kind of hurts!!! :eek: |

Wow!!!!!!!!!! What a storm-- :rolleyes: :rolleyes: must have fizzled. So funny though-he became brave and went over to the sliding glass window and sat there and watched all the lightning, but most of it is over now. He's playful again, but it was so cute him sitting at the sliding glass window and not moving. hehe!!! |

I spoke to soon---- A huge clap of thunder just happened and I have never seen Luig jump soooooo far!!!!!!!!! But back to the window he goes!!! :p :p :p |

I had a terrible thunderstorm experience the other day. My golden retriever is the one that literally can't handle it. He is usually ok if someone is there with him, he will pant and shake, it's so sad. He was alone once and we came home to pee streaked through the house like he was running scared and was peeing himself. Well I had to take my kids to school and leave him just as the thunder began. I couldn't take him with me so I put him in my bedroom. I came home to pee and poop everywhere. He pooped in front of the door and then stamped all in it and tracked it all over my bed, on the window as if he was trying to get out. It was such a mess. I felt bad for him though. I don't know why some dogs are sooo scared. My other little dogs, truly did not care one bit. |
Hahahah!!!! Its past my bedtime.Have to be at work at 7am. We are supposed to get more storms tomarrow but he will be alone. I think I will put him in his cage to be on the safe side and cover it. Simon & Haillie's mom- you're so cute- staying awake to see how Luig did!!! Thank you!! Lets juust hope he's ok tomarrow!!!!!!!! I think he is ok for tonite!!! :wavey: |
