Our guys are so tiny I worry myself to death over them choking! Jaden got a bully stick for Christmas and was chomping on it and started gagging and totally freaked me out. I ran over to him and pulled the little bit out of his mouth and he stopped but I was like...jeez, what if I hadn't been there? Would he be able to get it out on his own? Then after hearing her story I was like ok, no more treats while mommy is away! LOL Jaden was like "Greeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaattttttt  " He won't eat his dry food if I'm not home either and Jewelina is the pickiest eater I have to pick up all the dry food she tosses out of her bowl when she's done! Anyway, I found putting their dry food in a kong with a little bit of peanutbutter seems to keep them occupied and there's no choking hazards..maybe someone else can come up with some more ideas like your pupperoni one. |
