Your yorkie knows when you're upset... I received terrible news this morning that one of my co-workers wives past away. She was only 40 years old. I am very close with this guy as he is my second cousin and we go to the same church. They're not sure what happened yet. When I got off the phone with him this morning I picked up Miss Kimber and she kissed me for a good 10 minutes. It's funny how they just "know"! |
First of all I am so sorry to hear about your co workers wife - how tragic! :( Secondly, it IS really something that our babies just automatically "KNOW" when something is bothering us. Stedman is very good about this too - if he knows that I am upset for any reason, he will give me non-stop kisses and just sit in my lap and cuddle me - he is so sweet :) |
It really does seem like they know. My Husband gets gut in his toes. His one toe has it now and it really hurts him. Chachi and Jewels keep lickiing that toe |
Im sorry for your loss, and yes they do know if you are upset and also if you are ill, i was ill in bed last year for 2 days and Pippa never left my side bless her, even when my hubby took the other dog for a walk she wouldnt go! |
It's really sweet isn't it? This guy loves Miss Kimber so I think in a couple weeks when the shock of her death is over I will bring Kimber over to see him and his kids. :) |
I'm sorry for your loss :( I think theres nothing better to comfort me then a dog :) I find it amazing how they know when somethings wrong with us, and they just want to make us feel better |
I am so sorry about your loss. I found that with my Yorkies. My Pom could care less. Last week I really hurt myself and i cried it was so painful and Cali came running and kept licking my face. Maya didn't move, daughter didn't move, husband didn't move!!! |
Oh my! Are you okay? That's so cute eh? Sometimes I really wish she could talk so I don't feel like I moron when I vent to her - MY DOG! |
Oh YES indeedie....When our daughter was murdered, my yorkie would go to the window for about 3 months when it was time for her to come home. I, of course, was, am, always crying. This really upset Ginger. Even though whe was old, she was very healthy, but her health really started to decline quickly. She died about a year ago. The dog that had always been bubbly, was sad just like me. I think she had a broken heart too.:( |
First of all I wanted to say im sorry for your loss. Yes you are correct, Yorkies tend to be very susceptible to our feelings. When I dont feel well or sad Gucci knows and gives me lots of kisses. |

I know now, this is getting off the original subject, but THANK YOU, those that have responded about our loss. I will just say a little as some of you might want to know. Our beautiful, only child, Sarah, was murdered June 12,o3. Her boyfriend, shot her in the back then killed himself. We are doing the best we can. Thanks to our furbabies. We got our chihuahua, Rico Suave, right before the first Christmas of our loss. Of course we had our beautiful Ginger yorkie, but it helped having a new one to \'have\' to focus on. Now we have Mariposa and Angel Baby too. Angel Baby has been a Godsend because she is \'challenged\' and it has been so good for me to have her and let me tell you, To see her progress to the point that she has makes me feel very good. She takes extra work but it is sooooooo fufulling. Again, thank you for your concern.....Cathe |

If I even pretend to cry, Josie will start crying too. I think it\'s the sweeetest thing ever. If the kids are arguring with one an other she barks at them so they will stop. She can totally sense emotions. |
