Maybe a silly question My aunt has a 14 week old Yorkster and he had already started changing colors at around 12 weeks. Allie is 10 weeks old with no sign of colors changing. So generally speaking when do they normally start changing colors? Thanks:animal36 |
Stedman already had silver coming in on the top of his head at 12 weeks of age when we got him. But generally speaking, I'm really not too sure when they start changing colors - my best guess would be that each individual Yorkie varies. |
I've read every yorkie is different and varies. They say when you see the silver spots you can tell that color will be sprouting thru soon.:) |
Dobby is 12 weeks old, and his head is starting to turn more gold. I was looking at his hair yesterday and just noticed it...he totally has roots. It looks like he got a bad dye job..haha, with some serious gold roots (only about a centimeter) and black tips. His back is still fully black however, with no signs of color change. |
