Rocky wanted to cheer in the New Years
 
So as were counting down the last 10seconds of 06 last night, I have a shot in one hand, a glass of champaigne in the other, oh and I"m carrying Rocky on my arm. What does he start to do? Drink my champaigne! He only got a couple licks of it before I saw what he was doing, but I was in shock! If I hold up a glass of water to him, he won't drink it and hides his head from it...but champaigne of course he drinks! I'm just glad he wasn't in my arm with the shot.

Lesson learned: Don't carry alcoholic drinks and dogs at the same time!

Awww, well a couple of tiny little licks won't hurt him - but it's good of course that you didn't WILLINGLY give him any LOL :p My sisters Bulldog snuck beer at Christmas dinner this year - lol she loved it, that bad girl!! :rolleyes: :p Haha -

I guess Rocky just wanted to ring in the New Year like mommy ;) :p

That is so cute! When I was a kid we had a cocapoo that my sister and I use to give brandy to in the cap (we found it hidden in one of Mom's drawers). He would stick his tongue in it, shake his head, and than ask for more. It made us laugh!

Hahahaha a whole beer? Aw she just wanted to celebrate! I wasn't worried about him since it was only a couple licks, but if I let him he probably would've drank my whole glass (I had to use a martini glass because we don't have enough champaign flutes, so I guess since it was so big it was probably easier for him) With his body wieght, he's gotta have a really low tolerance, and I don't think I want to test that!

If it was my moms dog though, he could've had the whole glass and my shot and still be OK! LOL

my silky that passed use to go nuts over beer all of the open bottles would have to go up high lol

Oh NO, NOT a whole beer, LOL - she took several licks because one of the guys had a mug full of beer and left it sitting on the coffee table in the living room - and when we walked in, there was Lily (my sisters Bulldog) lapping it up right out of the mug like water! lol :p She is HUGE though - so it didn't hurt her.

Here are a couple pics of her (unfortunately, I wasn't quick enough to get a picture of her lapping up the beer - because she ran for the high hills when she saw us walk in the room and catch her!) lol :p

I can just see Rocky sticking his little tongue in your glass trying to celebrate - LOL!!!!! TOO, TOO cute!!!!! :D :D :D

Thanks :) And yes LOL - that would have been a precious picture! :D Little Rocky is such a stud - I just saw his bathtime pictures - TOO ADORABLE!!!! :hug:
