Cowboy Magic Question I have found a store that I can buy the Cowboy Magic, but what product should I buy--the Detangler and Shine or the Grooming Rosewater Shampoo??? Maybe I should buy both... Has anyone ever used this on their own hair??? |
I'm looking for the same question...but I'm actually going to buy the shampoo, conditioner, and detangler. :p |
I think you'd want the conditioner detangler. That's what I got and it's what really helps get matts out. |
I haven't used the shampoo, but would give it a try if I could find it around here. I live near the U.S. border and had to drive over to Michigan to find the detangler. The store I bought it from didn't have any of the shampoo and I got the last tube of the detangler. That stuff is AMAZING and works like magic. My daughter uses it on her own hair now and loves it. It sure is amazing stuff and worth every penny. |
I just went to the feed store on Friday and got the Detangler & Conditioner one (4 oz.). It feels and smells like baby oil. I tried it on Jazzie before her bath and it made it easier to brush her out but I think I used too much cuz it left her a little greasy. So I gave her a bath and put some CM on while she was still wet and I'm totally sold!!! After I blow dried her... talk about shine and her coat is SOOOOOO much easier to brush out! - 100% SOLD! Jazzie is a 10 pounder with full cottony coat. PS: The instruction says to use a "Nickel Size Drop" but that's for a horse! I used one drop at a time. Instead of putting it on from the outer coat, I ran my hands from her belly up, brushed it through her damp hair then dried her. Hope this helps! |

I went to their website hoping they had free or sample sizes but the smallest they have is 4 ounces. I just love the baby oil smell... reminds me of summers long, long ago.. :p If you use the Chris Christensen products, let me know how it works on Baby. I'd love to know. |
I use Coat Handler's Shampoo and Conditioner -- I am 100% sold on the products. However -- for those stubborn tangles and for some extra intense conditioning and shine you can't beat Cowboy Magic. To me it feels "silky". I just can't say enough good things about Coat Handler's and Cowboy Magic :) |
Oh good. I am glad somebody else posted this I was going to ask the same questions. :) I went to Petsmart to buy Cowboy Magic and they have alot of products:confused: I wasn't sure what to buy and all the small sizes were gone so I skipped it until I knew exactly what products to buy. Bailey has what I guess you would call a cottony coat, her hair is wavy/curly just like her dad's. It is getting long again and getting hard to comb. I gave her a bath today and forgot how little she actually is under all that hair:p |
I've been using the shampoo on Kitty and using the detangler and shine on her for any mats that she never has. (My cockers get them alot though and it works great!) I really love the CB Magic products. |
I didn't think about the feed store! If they don't have it then I would have to order it. |
