How does your dog get your attention.. when they want to play, pee or just be babied by you?:D I'm on the laptop and Kodak walked across my keyboard (letters scrambled)took his paw and scratched my hand. He came back and took the right paw and scratched again to show me he had a small rope toy & a ball. I have to type with one finger and toss the rope and ball with the other hand. He can go on and on with this before he gets tired and I won't get any work done. It's worth it though, he'll sleep for a little while. What does your dog do to get your attention? |
Eddie will plant himself next to me and stare. Every now and then he'll let out a little yip. Other times, he'll bite onto my pants leg and tug. Yes, it's a horrible habit, but I usually let him get away with it because I'm the only one he does it to. Jack is just like Kodak. He'll walk directly over the keyboard and get as close to my face as possible. |
Mojo will sit at my feet, after a short while, he will scratch (paw at) my foot, he will get a pat on the head until I am finished doing whatever I am doing - if that doesn't satisfy him, he will whimper and maybe even bark to get me attention! If he is wanting us to get up in the mornings, he will get on our chest and lick our ears and noses - sometimes he will paw at our faces and whimper and run around the bed - jumping from me to my husband!!! |
Buddy will come into the room where I am and sit staring at me. I of course see him from the corner of my eye and ignore him delibertly until he gives me a low growl. LOL that's how he gets my attention. Carol & Buddy |
Molly will also stare. If I am watching TV she will actually get in my face by standing on my lap and stare. She has me trained well.:D |

Chachi and Jewels stand up and put their front paws on your leg and stare at you. Sometimes Chachi talks in yorkinese to get your attention. |
Gracie will either follow me and try to play tag, or she will poop where she knows darn well she is not supposed to poop! I try so hard not to react....:D |

growl one of these days. It really is funny. It's says "I'm here why are you ignoring me?" It's time for my treat. Carik & Buddy |
If Gabby wants to go outside, she will go to the back door and bark - not a lot, usually just one loud "yip". If she's hungry or wants a treat, she'll come up, slap her front paws on the ground, let out a bark, then look at me. If I look at her, she will spin in a circle....LOL!! Too cute when she does that:). Gage is a "monkey see, monkey do" furbaby - does the same thing as Gabby but when he wants me to hold him or put him in the chair with me, he'll put his front paws up on my leg and "kneed" my leg til I look at him. When I do, he does a little "dance" (pounds his front paws on the floor for about 3 times), a spin, and then I pick him up. |
Monday will get on the bed near my laptop and lightly tap me on the shoulder ... Itz just so cute! She has tried walking on the keyboard as well .... Itz fun to hear about how your babies vie for your attention. Gotta love them. They are just so sweet. |
Sadie will jump up and put her little paw on my leg and let out a little whine...I will sit back and she hops up into my lap..Or if she wants to sit on me if I am watching tv or quilting she will just stand by my side and look at me...as if to say...WELL....move your quilt so I can lay on your lap! I move it and there she goes....Lillie can't jump up on me yet...she will get onto the couch and stand on the arm and whine at me until I pick her up... |
My baby will whimper till I wake up if I am in bed to get my attention. If I am not in bed, he will either stare or scratch me with his nails. He thinks he is a cat LOL. |
Jazzie is the master of the Kung-fu Yorkie Attack. She will literally lunge at me and claw me until I: A. Play with her B. Give her a treat C. Both of the Above |
