Who Knows About "The Happy Dance"? My beautiful boys make me smile and laugh so much everyday. After they eat, we go into the living room, and I break up pieces of a plain rice cake, and say their names and give each a piece. We do this until it's all finished. Then, they jump on the couch, bury their faces into the couch and wiggle and squirm, knock off all the pillows, roll around, scratch and dig furiously into the couch, and do it all over and over again, while I say, "Oh good boys ate nice?". It's like they are telling me how happy they are! They do it when I come home, too, only on my bed. I smother them with kisses, then they run to the window to bark. It's so hysterical. We call it the "happy dance"! Who else has this "dancing" in their house???? |
oooo yea, we have the happy everything, everyday... when I get home, Hopey and Tootie will kill each other getting to me... they know I will not pet them AT the door so they run onto the Settee in the keeping room and wiggle until I get there to pet and love.... |
Prince and Jessie (our boxer) do that espically when the kids get home from school, or when they have stayed all night somewhere and come home, sometimes it can be aggraviting though especially when you have a 75 pound boxer jumping up and down, Prince also does this when i get his toy chicken, he knows its play time when i grab it, but all in all yes i agree it is too cute! |

yes, itz so cute and makes me laugh! Yorkies are so amusing ... |
Remi stood on her head today on the couch! It was just so cute. Makes you wish you had a camera in hand all the time! I can't keep an afgan on the couch because they dance it right off. The other day I was working in the office when I noticed they had left me all alone. It was terribly quiet so I went to investigate. There they were, all four of them, lined up in front of the Christmas tree. When I asked what are you guys up to, they all turned their heads in unison and there was garland hanging off every chin. They were just too cute! The bottom string of garland on the tree was down to bare string. I took all of the garland off the tree before they could eat any but I didn't even mind the clean up. They just made the cutest picture! Having yorkies is always an adventure. Merry Christmas!! :D :D |
HAHA that is too cute! Hallie is queen of the happy dances :) She loves to run around and shake her little tooshie! |
These are such cute stories! What's more adorable than a yorkie personality? They are the nicest little dogs, so full of joy. When Max does something good and I do the happy dance and the happy song and he gets his "cookie," (treat), he takes off and runs around and around the living room out of sheer happiness. It's such a pleasure to see so much joy. Judy |

"Happy Dance" right here! <--------- lol, not only do ALL of the dogs get "happy" and do their dance and little noises when I get home, if you ever ask "Do you have to go potty?" it sounds like the house is going to come down! It's still great. |
We're all lucky that we're yorkie mommies (and daddies). Judy |
ooh yes! Whenever someone walks in the door they both do it! and every time I'm going to give them food Tucker's up on his back legs and Maddie spins in circles. They're the cutest things! |
Both of my two monsters do that. Dougal moreso than Dixie. (Dixie's much more ladylike and refined!) I call it "head Squiggles". Cos Dougal will seriously mush his head into the pillow or bed of floor. I then love it when they look up all smiles with their hair going every which way! |
