multi yorkie owners I finally got my new furbaby-little girl-tinkerbell-she is only 8 weeks old so I am worried about her being too young to really get much from crate/potty training etc--but we are trying... with lots of paitence. quick question for you owners of more than 1 yorkie. How long does it take for your older yorkie to warm up to the baby? Mine isnt mean, and she's gotten down next to the baby a couple of times, but when the older one is near me or has a toy she loves, she kinda tackles the little one with a vicious growl, no damage done, but I dont want to go too fast- any suggestions? I have been loving my older one lots and any time she gives me a look I will put the new puppy down and love on her--- -just worried :P |
I would like to know too, i am sopossed to be getting a puppy after christmas, and i hope i dont have any trouble with poo, cause he is my baby! :D |
We have three furbabies, it just takes time. They usually warm up to each other when we humans leave them alone and let nature take its place. Just my opinion. |
Well whne i 1st got Kisses, Hershey did not really want to get to close to her or even pay with her it took him about 3-5 days for him to start playing with her...Now there inseparable :p |
my Tootie LOVED Hope from the first second he saw her... my problem was keeping him off her to PLAY, he loves too hard... LOL NOW, my other, mix, it took her weeks to let the puppy near her and now they are fine! Tinker will even play with Hope if she thinks I am not looking... they are too cute, all of them |
