TinyBaci got Attacked by a Cat! Yesterday when returning home from an 11 hour shift, my 3yr old was playing outside and said, " The cat tried to kill my puppy." Then I asked my husband what she was talking about and he said the neihbor's 10 lb Siamese Cat creeped up on TinyBaci and arched his back and tried to pounce at him. He freaked out and as my husband noticed,he swooped up our pup and the cat ran away. My husband said even he was scared b/c the cat looked so dramatic and was over twice TinyBaci's size. And I was surprised that TinyBaci was scared b/c when I went to a pet supply store with him, he tried to attack a 100lb dog. I'm glad Tiny is ok b/c I haven't purchased his insurance yet. Just wanted to share . |
I'm glad he is alright. The cat probably thought he was a chipmunk or something like that. I would really becareful with TinyBaci from now on. |
Yeah, TinyBaci is so itty bitty it's kind of silly a cat attacking a dog but our pretty little babies are quite small. |
I have two 15lb cats and one of them always tries to pounce on Cordelia. I always keep a close eye on them. When I see Bellai hiss at Cordelia flick her nose and tell her no. Lokai (the other cat) is fine around Cordelia, they play together. |
I had the same problem when I brought Tinkerbell home. My cat thought she was something to eat. She took her head in both her paws all gentle and Tinkerbell and I both thought oh, she likes her. Then she tried to bite her head. Now that's she's a little bigger and the cat realizes Tinkerbell bites back, it is much better. |
Lucy is scared to death of cats! Loads of cats around our area have gone for her as thay are so much larger than her. Its quite funny though, next dor have 2 cats both huge things! If you say their names to Lucy she will bark and growl, but let her out in the garden when they are there, she will stand at the bottom and not go near them. If I go outside too, then she is brave enough to run up to them, but she usually ends up submiting to them as the cats dont care! |
aww poor Baby!!! I really dislike cats, the other day when I was walking rocky this Big black and white cat starting running towards us so I scooped rocky up, That damn cat kept on following us with his back arched and tail up...I was like What did we Do to u?? hehe Im glad the your hubby grabbed Tinibaci in time... =) |
