Mother Goose? I get up in the morning 3 Yorkies follow me to the bathroom. (They don't follow me during the night anymore they just watch from the foot of the bed.) I go back in the bedroom to get dressed and they follow me back. (What?!! A whole 3 feet?) I leave the bedroom and 5 Yorkies follow me to the kitchen. (Their food is in my room, big dogs food is in the kitchen so they aren't looking for food.) Somewhere along the way they disperse and I only have 1-3 Yorkies following me around. I go back in the bedroom to use my bathroom and pick them all up again. I leave the house and I leave 5 Yorkies at the door. I come home and 5 Yorkies try to climb my body to get to my face. I go to the bedroom to put down my purse and one trys to get into it.(She has a puppy pouch that carries her on my tummy while I walk when we go somewhere.) At night I sit at the puter and read and type. 4 of them try to get under my feet. I roll my chair back and I might roll over hair so I twist in my chair before I get up. Of course they all know that if I twist in my chair that I am getting up so they are under my feet as I walk. I go to the kitchen and 4 Yorkies follow me. (5th one is sometimes in the bedroom with her new baby.) I go in the laundry room, 4 Yorkies follow me. I go from the computer to my room to use the bathroom, 4 Yorkies and a Schnerrier follow me. I go back to the computer, 4 Yorkies and a Schnerrier follow me. Gaaaaahhh!!! If any day soon I should start to honk instead of talk you can call me Mother Goose!!!! Hahahahahahahaha!!!! |
That's funny :p |
Lady of Yorkies, I loved your story!! Very creative and also true. I only have 1 Yorkie and 1 Schnauzer. Wish I had 5 Yorkies and 1 Schnauzer!! |
That's hysterical ... if I had 4 more, heck, that could be me!! You left out one "step" ... if I sit on the toilet, I either have a yorkie with her paws on my leg saying "Up" or she is already on my lap staring into my eyes!! ;) They are truly "velcro" dogs!! |
LOL! That was a great story and SO true! Have you ever fallen over due to this? I only have 2 and Iv ended up flat on my face more than once I can tell ya! :aimeeyork :aimeeyork lol.The DO follow us everywhere, even if its just a couple of feet and sometimes (even after I put my kids to bed) I feel like Iv got another batch of kids to look after because they wont even let me use the bathroom! As soon as I sit on the toilet Jess brings me her ball and Lady starts to paw at my leg..I swear that sometimes I need a vacation! LOL;) |
That is a real cute story - I had visuals and can relate! I too am followed by my Schatzie. I couldn't imagine being followed by as many as you, LOL ! |
Thats cute and funny :yelrotflm |

I can completely understand where you are coming from on this one...Baby insists on sitting on my lap whenever I'm in the bathroom. She did this to one of my friends one time too, but luckily my friend just laughed and said "oh Baby do you love me that much?" I was glad she loves animals.... |
:eyetearss Such a funny/cute story!!!! |
I feel your honk! Ditto from Oklahoma.......can't even peepee without an audience.... grins and hugs from Max and Maggie |
Like I tell people: "I used to pick my feet up when I walked. Then I got Yorkie pups and learned the shuffle step to keep from stepping on Maggie". The only thing you left out was the part about never really knowing that your destiny was to be a Dog Bed! Maggie and Molly are in constant competition to see who can get the lap and who will be left with trying to get me to fold my arms across my chest so she can lay there. Sometimes I'll be sitting and realize that I'm actually stiff from not moving so as not to disturb on of the babies! That's me: The Dog Bed! |
Lady of Yorkies, if you ever get the opportunity to actually go to the bathroom alone ... do yours scratch at the door? :) If Patrick is home to keep an eye on Toto, I will sometimes slip in one of the bathrooms and actually close the door ... in a few minutes I look at the bottom of the door and there's a hairy little "arm" feeling around under the door!! It is sooo funny ... she doesn't scratch at the door or make a sound, just sticks that little arm under there as far as she can and feels around!! ;) I commend you for your patience ... can't imagine trying to keep up that crew that you have!! |
Lady of Yorkies, aka Mother Goose- You are my hero! I dream of one day having as many as you! |

Bettyeanne, I swear that is exactly what I was just getting ready to type before I read your post. You described it perfectly!! |
