So mad, does anyone know this? Does anyone know if the hair grows back the same or if it even does, the hair that's on top of their eyes?? My mom cut London's hair in front because she thought it was in her eyes when i told her don't cut it because i plan on putting it in a bow. and now i can't!!! it's too short in front. I'm soo mad I told her don't cut it because I read somewhere once you cut that hair it won't grow back it'll keep growing forward in their eyes. Does anyone know? Please I cut Teddy's hair before I read that and it's still short infront and you can see where I cut it, now London's is like that and I'm sooo mad. I'm sorry to vent but I told her don't cut it because I read it won't grow out the same. Her hair was almost long enough for me to put in a little bow. Now I can't!! ayayay |
lol don't be mad. my boyfriends mom did that TWICE to Kayah:mad: I was soo pissed with her.. and the best part is IT'S NOT HER DOG. Kayah's hair is almost all grown out in a ponytail. Because of the fact that it's still short, it does go into her eyes, but I can tell once it will fully grow, it'll be fine:D |
It will grow back but it seems like it takes forever. I did that to my dogs about a year ago and it still hasnt grown out. |
It'll grow! Somewhere there's a thread on here that I started about a year ago when a groomer did that to Ginger! I was so upset. She's got a lovely pony now though (I even trimmed it recently). Hang in there!!! |
I hope it does grow quick. The reason why I'm mad is because I know it takes long because I did that to Teddy and you can still see the line where I cut it and it hasn't grown. Now when London came her's was already a little long where I could put a clip or something and I explained yesterday to my mom why I didn't wanna cut it and how I cut Teddy's and everything and she still did it behind my back. Then when I noticed she laughed and denied it and then got mad when I got mad. :( |
I learned from cutting Kizzys a couple of times that it will grow back. I wish I never had cut it. she was my first yorkie and I didnt know. only knew it was in her eyes. Its growing back but It still not yet long enough to keep from falling out of her barrettes when I put one in her hair. But I think its getting there. I only cut hers just the long around her eyes. not the whole top. goodluck. |
I would be sooooo Mad if ANY ONE cut my dogs hair but me... That includes my family! They would never hear the end of it from me... i would never trust them again!!! My mom has a lot of nerve but I think she would be afraid to cut the hair. I would never leave Chewy with my mom cause she is too old and could never take him out if he had to go anyway! |

o god thanks! I will try that so atleast she can look like a cute little girl. She really did look more girly with her hair longer like that, now you can't really tell unless she has her clothes on :/ |

I usually cut Maizee's hair by myself, since the only place she can grow it is on her head. I cut the hair in front WAY to short once and she looked like a dork (but a cute one!). It took a while to grow out, but it finally did. I can pull it back now, but now it curls right in front of her eyes. . grrr. It always gets in her food and when she chews on bones, she chews on that chunk of hair. Gives me a reason to give her lots of baths though :) |
I had a groomer SHAVE the bridge of Loki's nose. She was a terrible groomer. We switched and found an awesome one who has 3 Yorkies and only does small dogs. Not all groomers are bad you just have to find a good one :) Even though I keep Loki really short in a puppy cut, I let that hair grow out a little so that I can comb in to the side and not have it sticking in his face. |
It will grow back eventually, but it could take a while. You can train it by brushing it down and wetting it a little everyday. |
Do you know how long it takes to grow back? |
OmG! I bet you were just shocked....It will grow back....Just may take awhile. |
