roaches.... i took my baby to work with me today. she was running around the office and all of a sudden i look over and she is playing with a roach!!!! she looked like a cat playing with a ball. the thing was still alive but on its back. she was bitting at it too.....ahhh.....is that a problem for her??? i dont know if i am beign silly, but roaches are so disgusting to me i just didnt know. :( |
if it was lying on it's back, chances are it ran across poison and it was dying. I wouldn't let her play with those things. They are disgusting and carry germs. GROSS!!!!! |
Oh trust me...i know......i wasnt letting her....as soon as i saw i stopped her!!!! do u think she is ok...or shoudl i take her to the vet? |
she's prob ok they kncok them silly that may be why it was on it's back then they roll on them and squish them mine do it anytime they see a bug it's gross but funny at least we don't need exterminators!! |
haha true....thanks for the funny spin on such a gross event....hehe.....thanks again..... |
Weren't yorkies originally bred to hunt rats? I doubt if a roach would hurt him, but a plateful - I would worry. He sounds like he was playing with it like a cat. They are predators. I would keep an eye on him and not run to the vet immediately, but you could call. Judy |
Don't worry! As long as your baby didn't eat it, it's most probably ok. Sorry something gross like that had to happen to you! |
I hate roaches to, and good you stopped her from playing with it. I have to tell Kodak to leave the big black ants alone. He chases them around, swats them with his paw, flips them over, etc. I told him one day those ants are gonna pnch the sh@*! out his nose if he don't stop. ;) |
hahaha that is soo funny. bella loves to play with anything that moves and is smaller than her, which doesnt leave very much ;) ....thank goodness she hasnt found ants yet, i am sure she would start chasing them around too!!! the roach thing happened a while ago, and she is fine. i guess i know for next time, just to stop her as soon as possible!!! |
