Is YorkieTalk really a good thing? I'm probably going to be late for a hair appt. b/c I'm addicted to YT and not watching the time. Not to mention who knows how many people have lost their job b/c they've been on here constantly at work. Plus the products forum has almost cost me my marriage with all the great sites and products that we have to buy our babies. They are definately going to have to look into starting an addiction center for YorkieTalk.

Just kidding guys but I really am going to be late I'll have to come back later to finish reading and posting.

LOL Courtney that's too funny, I'm currently on at work, and when I'm home, I'm either on here or on Ebay browsing doggie stuff. = )

Exactly I'm the same way i keep the internet on to Yorkietalk and do my work @ the same time so i open up two screens of internet that way if my boss walks by she see the homepage of msn :cool: (because i use it to do my work online sometimes) and @ lunch i don't care who sees. I think i'm addicted to this website. The only time that i'm not on is during the weekends thank god because then that means i have no life. But don't get me wrong i love this website. :) :D

Im totally addited also i check yt about 8 times a day my husband comes home from work the first thing he says is how is everyone on yorkie talk. :)

No-- what is bad is when I have to keep my customers waiting cuz I can't get off YT in time to leave for work!! And whats bad is when your customers come and instead of asking how I am, they ask me whats new on YT!!!

Of all my addictions and oh mercy there are many....My Yorkie Talk addiction is the only one I truly never want to quit!

And if you have a lap top you can take it with you while you get your hair done right??? :D

My parents say I drive them crazy because I spend to much time on YT. Not true! I only spend 8hrs. at school, 5hrs. sleep, and 11hrs. YT. Thats not so bad...LOL! :D

YorkieTalk is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place! It has costed me thousands of dollars because of all these great site links to cheap doggy clothes, purses, carriers, strollers, diamond rings, tennis bracelets and all these lavish leashes made with 24KT gold dipped fabric. JEEEEZ.

Just kidding, too!

YorkieTalk is almost as addicting as shopping. :rolleyes:

Oooh- good idea!! I could take my laptop to work and when I go into the back room to mix color- I could check into whats new on YT!!!!! :jump28ib:

Well--maybe not such a good idea- I might mix the wrong color and make someone's hair red who is supposed to be blond!!!

I better keep the laptop at home!!! But I could encourage my customers to bring their laptops in!!!!

Its soo funny- the 1st thing we talk about when a client gats into my chair is my dog!!! I have my brag book that I keep updated and now they are all starting to bring me in cute little frames, and toys for Luigi and anything with Yorkies on it! Coffee mugs, calenders and even stuffed aniamls!!! Its sooo funny!!!!!! Then we discuss their hair!!!! Tends to get me into trouble and I run behind time wise. Thank goodness for my assistant!!!! :rollingey :rollingey

LOL! That is so funny, I am adicted to yorkie talkin too ;) I keep missing my favorite tv shows cuz I am on the internet. My poor husband has been watching tv alone for months now... no wait he has Missy and Max to keep him company, ok I dont feel so bad now :D

Me too! I use Mozilla Firefox for a browser and there is a "tabs" feature, so one tab is my work and the other is my YT! I shudder to think how much work time I spend on YT!! :eek:

I get home and my boyfriend always says "I wish you liked me as much as you like the computer!" :cry: I think it's a good compromise that we watch his TV programs while I sit next to him and go on YT. "Together time" and YT time!! :D

Wait...are you my hairdresser? I was actually on time yesterday and she was 10 minutes late....while I was waiting I was like "She must be on yorkietalk". I don't think she has a yorkie though, but hey you never know.

ME TOOOOO! I get on as soon as I turn my computer on everyday. I am glad they don't monitor my computer usage here.

i was an instructor for several years and loved it. north west ohio. and i used to do hair. many years. i got burnt out on it. worked too many hours and too many days. i don't even want to do my own hair now. only family now.. keeps me happy with just that. but what is funny is that i don't want to do my yorkies hair. i don't have the patience anymore. isn't it funny how your customers will bring you gifts with something like yorkie stuff on it. i bet everytime they find something that has to do with yorkie they think of you. and isn't that nice? i have many gifts that was given to me by past customers and students. i can't seem to part my self from any of that stuff. too sentimental i guess.
