Large Yorkies Hi Guys I'm looking for someone by the name of Yorkie Yakker. From what I understand she has a large Female and I'm interested in mating my handsome, smart and great tempered Buddy Love. William |
Are you sure the usser name is yorkie yakker because that is also a title that is under some peoples names depending on how many posts they have. I will look on the member list and see if there is a yorkieyakker here |

I know. I was teasing. William...I hope you find your female for Buddy. May he mate until his heart's content...and have beautiful furbabies so you can post pictures and we can ooh and ahhh over them. |
Looking to mate Hi guys My name is William and I,m looking to mate my yorkie. His name is Buddy Love. He is a great dog. He's very smart, handsome and has a great temperment. Buddy does alot of tricks and melts in your arms when you pick him up. The problem is that Buddy is alittle big. He weighs 10lbs, but a better dog you couldn't fined and did I mention really good looking. I really don't want to mate him to sell the pups. As a matter of fact, I would keep them all. I just want another dog that shares his genes. ********************* I hope you have better luck this time. |
still not a good idea to mate such a big male! i seriously doubt you'll find any reputable breeder to do so either . |

I have a 2 pound male:( and I wouldn't trade him for the world, but I would give anything for him to be a bit larger. |

The Yorkshire terrier is a toy breed and to keep the breed as a toy, it is discouraged to breed over the standard weight. But..... there is no law against it. If someone is going to breed a 10 pound male though, they had better find a very large-boned yorkie -- because weight alone is not enough to make that decision on. Even an 10 -11 pound female might have a bone structure too small to safely birth the puppies. I would make sure to get a vet assurance that it would not be too great a risk to the mother. |

True, I love her more then anything. She is my baby, she follows me around the house no matter where I go she is right beside me. Not to mention she is wonderful with my 3 daughters and my youngest is 1 1/2 yrs old and she loves her. |
