Talk about a rude awakening... Since you guys all share your GROSS and DISGUSTING yorkie stories, I'm going to too! (I needed moral support, and my husband was more interested in going back to sleep!!!) If you get easily grossed out, don't read any further, and consider yourself warned... We have this routine every morning: 5:30: Emma jumps off bed, pees. Comes back to bed 6:15: Emma jumps off bed, poops, waits for me to pick up the poop and flush 6:45: both of us wake up, Emma gets fed, day goes on, it works great :) Well, this morning, it was DIFFERENT: 5:00 Emma jumps down to pee, came back to bed 5:30 I wake up, check for poop, don't see it. I decide I need to go to the bathroom since I woke up, and push back the covers. And that's when I felt IT... IT was cold, wet, and slimy. And then, the smell of IT wafted to my nose, and I realized IT was poop. But this was not just ANY poop, IT was puked-up poop! EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW!   Emma ate her poop, and then puked it up on my bed!!! So, I was up at 5:30 this morning, scrubbing poop and barf out of our dry-clean only duvet cover, white sateen sheets, and mattress pad. We all know that poop and vomit both smell disgusting, but there is no comparable smell until you roll all that into one horrifying smell at 5:30 in the morning. I love my Emma, she's the perfect Yorkie for me :aimeeyork , but WHY OH WHY must she, being so small, create such terrible things and smells?!?! |
Ewwww.... not a great way to start the day! I have thankfully, never had a poop eater but hear it is all too common. Hopefully, that bad experience will deter her from the next poop breakfast. |
I'm sorry, but I'm laughing. I can just see you scrambling, half-asleep, wanting to strangle her, but knowing you won't, wondering what the hell she was thinking by eating poop, and not knowing if the stain will ever come out. Kinda like having kids, isn't it? Ooops, never saw a kid eat poop! My sister took the two boys out of my litter and one of them is a poop eater. You'd have to know my sister to really appreciate how ironic that is. She wouldn't say s**t if she had a mouthful of it and she's so clean you can eat off her toilets. I have no idea what makes them do that. Hope you got the bedding clean. Hope your baby learned its lesson. Hope you wake up to a better morning tomorrow:D |
I can feel for you. My Maltese Jack (may he rest in peace) would eat poop if I didn't catch him, wait awhile and then run to me, stand in my lap and yak it all over my shirt. EVERY TIME. OH, just now hubby just announced from his under his blankie in the recliner that "the puppy's pooping!!!!" I got up, picked up the puppy and the poop, took the pup outside for him to piddle. Life is Good!!! |
Sounds like you all know too well what this is like! :) Thanks for your support and funny stories! It makes me feel better. |
Thats exactly why nothing that has to be dry cleaned goes on my bed! Never fails, when Adonis pukes, its on the bed! |
OMG I KNOW EXACTLY HOW IT SMELLS !! ITS AWEFUL !! AUSTIN did it once ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww thank god it was on my moms bed LMAO !! it is seriously one of the worse smells ever |
oh nooo I hate that..Lillian used to do that on my bed..she would puke and i'd wake up and all my foot was all wet  and she was just looking at me like nothings wrong lol |
That is pretty aweful. My goldren retriever will eat cat poop all the time and come back upstairs licking her lips with kitty litter all over her whiskers. Maizee can't reach the kitty litter, but I pray she never can! Ew. . I have felt your pain before |

Aww hun I can definately feel for you!!!!! I had just cleaned my white carpet in my bedroom where I sleep with the furbabies....and doesnt Louie have a bout of loose poop in like 10 differant places on the carpet....It is 10:30 pm and I just got done shampooing the carpet AGAIN!!!! Its a good thing they are so damn cute and I LOVE them so so much! |
I have been there, tried that. It happened in Wal-Mart when my baby puked the poop+vomit on me. It smells so horrible I nearly threw up because it was all over me. I ran to the ladies to puke because I really had to. Boy oh boy. |
LOL, I am so sorry but me and hubby busted up laughing! He told me to reply saying that she was trying to help her mommy by cleaning it up for you but figured out why you flush it, and not eat it because it sure didn't taste good, and she figured oh well mommy is used to cleaning stuff up so she can clean this up too! :D :lol tears And by the way Poo is NEVER nice enough to clean up his accidents! |
You guys are cracking me up! :p Shampooing White carpets for the 2nd time today!? Poo-Puking at WalMart! OH NO! Emma "cleaning up" her own poop! Maybe I don't have it so bad!? I got the stain out of the duvet after lots of Nature's Miracle and soaking it in cold water all day, and bleached the sheets...(Now I get it, THIS is why grandma always swore by white sheets!) Mattress pad came clean right away-we got a new bed, and didn't have one for awhile-glad I bought one! For anyone that doesn't have a mattress pad on their bed-this is your reminder to GET ONE NOW before your furbaby barfs on your bed. There is some serious speed to puppy-puke, so I found out the hard way! Thanks again you guys for the stories and laughs! |
