On my way to work this morning, I was coming down this very busy street and I seen a little dog running in the middle of the street. As I got closer I realized it was a yorkie and he was all by himself. I pulled over (mind you i was already late for work) and opened my door, I couldnt get out cause there were a ton of cars coming both ways. I was like come here little guy and he ran right to my car and hoped in. When I was about to shut the door he jumped out and ran arcoss the street up into the trees and there would have been no way for me to get up there. He was really filthy and he smelled terrible. I have been sick to my stomach all day because I wish I could have got him to the vet or helped him in some way. He didnt have any tags on, and I could tell he has been out on his own for awhile, he wasnt acting scared or shaking or anything like that, but it makes me sick to know that he is out on his own. Just posted this to mabey feel a little better, I really tried to help but he got away:( |
Poor little guy :( :( :( - he's probably all turned around in his head thinking maybe you were his people -you could notify the shelter in your area that you spotted him & tell them where just in case someone is looking....and good for you for trying to help him - that was a really good try ~ they're so fast you may not have even been able to catch him even if you tried |
Must have broken your heart to see the poor little fellow so alone and on his own. So glad you tried to give him a helping hand. You did what you could. :bravo: |
Thanks for making me feel better, I hope he gets home safe soon |
Can you swing by on your way home and look around the area? Maybe bring a treat so you can catch him. |
I will def be on the look out on my way home, and this time if I get near him i will hold on for dear life. Its a really busy street so mabey he came out later and someone else picked him up. I guess im just trying to stay positive |
