Nose changing color Hello everyone....I Have Lizzy who is a cleft pallatte/hairlip Yorkie. She is over a year now and something weird is happening. Her nose is turning brown. Its like she is rubbing the color off. Any one see this befor? |
This happens to my Maltese in the winter months. I have read that it's from a lack of sunshine. Don't know if that's true or not but his nose always blackens up come spring when he spends lots of time outdoors again. |
oh I hope this is the case...poor thing...the brown nose is just drawing attention to her cleft lip. |
My Yorkie's nose is brown like that, weird but it has a distinct look to it. He's pretty light so it's not that much contrast with the black nose. It exactly looks like the black rubbed off in the middle and it's brownish peach color  |
yes...it looks like the black is rubbed off in the middle.....weird |
2 Attachment(s) I've heard that them eating/drinking from plastic dishes can cause that. My Starr had that same thing, and she was always in the sun, since we live in Florida. It seemed that it happened overnight, after I introduced her to our pool lady and she sniffed at her hand (she was wearing those yellow gloves, and may have had chemicals on there:( ) Next thing I know, she's got this pale spot in the center of her nose. I'll see if I can pull up a pic. Okay, here's her nose pics:P I always wondered what caused that, cuz it was black as can be when she was little, then boom! It was like that:confused: |
Lunasmomma....that is how Lizzies nose looks....and I don't believe she got into anything chemical.... |
I wonder what it is? Very strange:confused: Oh well, Lizzie is adorable no matter what color her nose is:love: |
