Well, Maggie Anne is definately Scottish. I've known that since I got her...probably from somewhere around Glasgow. Quite a brogue on that little girl. Molly, I'm not too sure of at this point. She's kind of quiet, having had a sad babyhood with no real forever mamma in her life until she was 5 months old. Consequently her speech is a little behind what one would expect for her age. (On the other hand, this may be a good thing, as she comes from Michigan...as did Maggie, and I've reason...other than the football rivalry...to be really down on Michigan these days. I'd hate for her to talk like them!) Since sweet Molly is trying to imitate Maggie in all things, I suspect she too will wing up talking like a Scot. Now, if Misha comes to join our happy band (a whole other story), she will definately have a Russian accent! |
My babies would be country girls - my family is from Eastern KY & I love the accents!! My dad has that slow southern drawl. |

I think Cordelia would be a valley girl and this is what she would like say "So like I'm sitting in the grass the other day and like my friend Buffy says to me "Hey, Cordy" (my name is Cordelia, but, like, my friends call me Cordy), "have you seen this mega-huge rubber toy thingy called the Kong?" Helloooo, who does she think she's talking to -- Miss Uninformed? It's not like *I* wasn't the one who told her all about the time I caught HER ex-stud Chunk making out with that heifer Poodle last week. Anyway, I told her how I had gone over to Bailey's house (he's, like, a total stud puppy) and asked him to show me his new toys I was like "oh my gawd, what is this rubber toy that looks like something else that I won't name" He said it was a kong and that all the cool dogs have one. So like that is my story |
