Is it okay to have a real christmas tree with the furkids? We got one the other day and they keep attacking it lol is okay if they start chewing on it? |
I'm not sure, but I think it might be poisonous to them. There is a thread on here about what is bad for our babies. You might want to read through that. I thought I saw some thing on there about evergreen. |
Here is the link to that thread. I guess it doesn't mention evergreens. Just mistletoe and Poinsettas. So I have not clue http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sho...ght=bad+babies |
I'm not sure about Yorkies because ever since I've had my girl, we've had a fake tree. But we used to own a Maltese and she would eat and attack that tree all day long. The same with my Himalayan cat. They both loved to eat it. While I don't think it was very healthy for the, it didn't make them sick or cause a fatality. Although, the Maltese would vomit after eating too much. . .Sorry, this probably didn't help you out much. |
MAYBE YOU CAN SPRAY some bitter apple on or around it? i wouldn't let them eat or chew on it though. |

Oh my goodness! Another Mayzie Grace! How cool! Spelled differently but....wow! Welcome to YT! Is that your name or your pup's??? As far as trees, we put ours up yesterday and fortunately, they haven't bothered. |
We have a real tree that is in the middle of a train board, but if Soph even goes near the board or tree I just clap my hands and say no. That is all it takes for her. She is supervised always though. Our cat on the otherhand just lays on the train board and leaves the tree alone (when we are looking only I am sure LOL) |
romeo pees on real xmas trees. this is my problem. |
