Rocky's Mommy | 05-09-2005 06:38 PM | post neutering question I just had Rocky neutered two Fridays ago. I was reading through the vet's notes and I read that the chemicals don't balance out or change as they should for 4-8 weeks following the operation. In all of your expert opinions, do you think at this point I will possibly notice a difference in his behavior? The vet and behavioral specialist that has been working with suggested having him neutered early due to his severe dominance issues. I'm wondering if this will really affect him in any way. He has improved in small increments over the last couple of months anyways, but I would be happy to learn that neutering may indeed calm him or help him to reduce any aggressive tendencies. Do you guys have any input? |
