Simon has spring fever (not a good thing) I know there are a million posts about humping but I need HELP!!! Simon has just started doing this to Hallie (they are both spayed/neutered) to the point where I have had to put them in different rooms becuase he was hurting her. He has NEVER done this, usually it's her. Does anyone know why? What I can do? Should I leave them in separate areas when I go to work? Is it the weather? Thanks, "embarrassed Kim" |
Oh my!! Maybe Hallie is wearing a new perfume?? Just kidding - sorry I can't help- I've been trying to keep Tucker away from Biddy too! |
ha LOL maybe it's in the name! My Simon, though also neutered still doesn't act like it at times and has some lewd behavior with my other dog who is 60 pounds bigger. Ewww! Jeni |
Both the fur baby's are just trying to show who's dominate over the other, it's not sexual. Im thinking but not sure that the two of them will work out their "learning who's boss" and move on and you will see less of the "humping action". If not, then maybe some scolding can take place? Dunno.. Schatzie has only humbed Annabelle which I've seen a couple times. I usually just say "knock it off" and she leaves her alone. |
I don't know what to say except mine have stuffed toys that become their boyfriend during those times - We have Magilla Gorilla and all I have to say to Chanel is "Go Get Magilla" and she leaves Cheri alone...Magilla is VERY popular sometimes ....Doubt this helps but it's an alternative to humping each other |
