She is ADORABLE! |
After reading the poll of how much YTers paid for theirs I see that only about 3% paid over $3000 for your dog with most members paying somewhere between $500-$1000. So definetely $3200 is way overpriced. But being that I paid $2500 for Ninna I thought (before my research) that this was the neighborhood of the going rate. Additionally, I don't know this person that is selling it or know of anyone who has purchased from this breeder in the past?? Would so much rather buy from someone in YT when the right puppy comes about.. I guess I am answering my own questions uh? :) |
I highly recommend you seek a breeder where you can go visit and check out the dam and sire. That is way tooo expensive. You can have a biewer with that price if not less. I'd say pay no more than $2K. |

There is no reason any yorkie should be over 3 grand - (NOT including showdogs) thats overpriced no matter where the area - the people selling for those amounts are just raking it in and making it tougher for the good reasonably priced breeders out there not to mention - they're pricing puppies right out of good homes - most people can't afford that for a puppy. Man - I'd want the BEST Contract if I put down 3 grand on a dog - much as I love yorkies I'd have to be rich to spend that kind of money. |

I advertise on Puppyfind and I find it odd that this ad has no phone number. The pup is definately pricey but she is small and she is chocolate. It depends on whether you want to take a chance, can afford it, or want to continue your search. Good Luck, Teri:animal-pa |
The puppy is absolutely gorgeous and adorable, but I would NOT pay that kind of money for a puppy that is not even from champion bloodlines. If I could afford to spend $3500 on a puppy, I would get a Biewer from an experienced, reputable breeder. For that amount of money, you can contact a show breeder here on YT and get a puppy. Even if you have to get on a waiting list, that would be better because you really don't know what you're getting on Puppyfind. |
The other day I came across this webpage http://www.seasideyorkies.com/ They are in Miami and they are not that pricey. |
OMG That is the yorkie I was thinking of buying before London! lol that's so funny. You have great taste like me no really she is really adorable, the only reason I didn't get her is because I can't afford her right now. But she's soooooooooooooo cute, I say if you have the money go ahead and get her. At least I know she'll have a good home with you and her mommy will be a YT member! I was thinking awww who will be her mommy? |
If that was for that momma dog, I might be tempted! She is a beauty and I guess you have a good chance of her puppy being just as fine. So hard to buy when you don't know the people though. I would not do it unless you could visit the kennel, meet the people, see those parents, and feel sure that you were getting what you are paying for. I am just not sure about where the chocolate and particolored dogs are going within the AKC Yorkshire Terrier world. I do not think they can be shown and I know the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America says they should not be bred. But the chocolates are soooooo pretty! |
That lady has a website(which I'm not going to post) I think because it's a chocolate yorkie it costs more. I think concerning my next yorkie that no matter how much it costs, if it's exactly what I'm looking for then it's worth it. If you don't have your heart set on a chocolate yorkie then yes, look elsewhere because you can find a regular one much cheaper. |
Oh my goodness...she is a doll for sure! A little out of my price range though! I guess like everyone else says, just be sure about the breeder and that there is no scam happening! Good luck in your search...how exciting! |

You know I was going to ask you personally about this but did not want to bother you as I know you must be super busy with all the holiday stuff going on! If that site scares you then it is out of the question as I am sure you have seen your share of scams out there. I love the chocolate colored yorkies but I would be just as happy with any colored one as long as she/he is small and loveable like Ninna. |

but if your heart is set on her - just go slow and ask tons and tons of questions |
