Scared dog! This is an extremley sad situation. I am trying to help my co-worker as much as I can but I think she is losing it. A woman I work with had a horrible situation happen recently. Her ex-husband killed himself (with a gun) The daughters 3 years old dog lived with the dad (yorkie-maltese mix) Unfortunalty, when the father took his life the dog was in the apartment. My coworker now has the dog with her and her daughter AND a very aggressive cat. She seems to be doing ok with the 2 keeping out of each others way but the dog barks at everything and she is afraid to try any type of ultrasonic noise or shake can to stop the barking since he getting very nervous with loud noises. And he is very nasty. Trys to bite almost everyone and is extremley aggressive with his food. I am still learning something new everyday with my baby and I have had him a little over a year. I dont want to stear her in the the wrong direction. If anyone has any advice that I might be able to give her that would be awesome. She has lost so many nights sleep after the loss of her ex husband and the sleepless nights continue with the doggy issues :( |
Oh my that poor lil pup how very tramatic. I don't know what she could really try but I would reward the guy for the good things he does. as with the food aggresion if she can make him sit and stay till she is ready that may help. I know yorkietrainer may have better help I'll go look for her :) good luck. |
