Great brush for facial grooming  I found it, the perfect brush and comb for grooming Jack's hair below his eyes where that yukky stuff is. I have human eyebrow brush and it works great. It has a comb on one side and a brush on the other and is about 1" long. It is tiny enough to fit and no get into his eyes, and it grooms out that "yukky" stuff really well. I swear I have spent more on his cosmetics in 6 months than I have spent on myself in a year. Oh, but it is worth it. He goes for his first haircut tomorrow, and I am dreading it, I hope the groomer is patient. |
Brilliant! I know the exact brushes that you mean - that would work perfect. Tucker got his first haircut & he did quite well (at least that's what the told me!). He ALWAYS has goop in his eyes & this seems perfect to get it out. Thanks!! |
I use the same thing for Bella's eyes. I couldn't figure out how to get the stuff out of her eyes as the eye wipes alone weren't working and I had and eybrown brush/comb and tried it and it worked. Plus you can replace them easily and real cheap |
Great idea. I just wonder if I can use it without Asia trying to eat the comb. |
This was the first thing that I used on Jack that he didn't try to eat. Probably because it is so small, (he didn't see it coming). |
Good idea! I accidentally bought an extra dog toothbrush set. So I use that toothbrush under the eyes and that works great as well. |
Good idea. I'll have to try that. Jodi - your Malt's face looks super clean and tear-stain free in the pictures I've seen of her. You should be very proud!! I've never seen a Malt with such a clean face! :p |
That is such a good tip - thank you SO much!! Ana xx :aimeeyork |

Great idea. Mustache combs work really well too. Don't stress about the grooming appointment. If you have done your research and picked the right groomer everything will be fine. |
wow, i have never thought about that idea. i thought i was the only one that had trouble getting the goop out of Oreo's eyes. I mean is it normal? no matter how much i clean it, there will always be goop there. took him to the vet, they gave him eye drops, but its still the same.. not dry or anything, just looks like their always wet lol.. |

We took Tucker to the vet & they gave us eyedrops too - it didn't help. It helped a little to take him to the groomer & have the hair around his eyes cut, but they're still a little goopy. I'm not sure how to stop it! |
Jack's eyes always look wet, and if I don't keep ahead of it, they dry and then I have a heck of a time with it. So now, I dampen it with a warm wet wash cloth, then comb it out with this little comb. I asked the groomer that is going to give the first haircut tomorrow and she says that there really isn't anything that you can use that will stop it. So, here is to 15 or so years of cleaning goop. |
That is a good idea, I am going to need to try that!!!!\\ Thanks for the tip |
That is a great idea. I will have to go get one of those. Thanks :) |
