Help! Does anyone know how to tell approximately how big a pup might be full grown? I was told by someone that you take the weight of the pup and times it by 3 and so on but I can't remember the rest. |
How old is the pup. One rule is to double their weight at 12 weeks. Or tripple it at 8 weeks. that should get you in the ballpark. |
They're almost eight weeks old. |

one weighs 1lb.10oz., the other weighs 1lb.12oz., and the third one weighs 1lb.14oz. I have people looking for 5 lbs. when full grown. |
triple it at eight weeks then double it at twelve. it's a pretty good indicator but can be wrong sometimes. |
I was told to double the weight at 3 mos(12wks) and add a pound. |
