I thought of Johnny first too. There is a song about Frankie and Johnny -- but Frankie was a girl in the song. Oscar, Jeb, or Baxter seem to fit with the pic, depends on his personality. |

Very pretty and a beautiful coat. The grooming care of a silk coated Yorkie is so much easier than a Maltese with their coats that so easily matt. I love to see pics of Yorkies with their natural tails - one of these days the U.S. will ban tail docking like other countries have. There are about 2.2 pounds in a kilogram so almost 3 1/2 pounds which is very small. |
yes that one reason i picked yorkie.so i don;t need to clip him like off.i had maltese before and .i had to clip them very shot .and they dirty very easy.they are sweet the maltese.but hard to get the smaller one.at lease i know my yorkie will small.:animal36 |

Aww, he is sooo gorgeous!! You are so lucky to be getting such a adorable little boy!! I love both maltese and yorkies, and I have both. My maltese all have silky hair so the grooming is fairly easy, they don't matt up and are kept in a full coat. They also have very good black points and their hair stays a brilliant white all the time. But... they have tear staining and it drives me crazy. I try everything and put alot of time, effort and money into trying to keep the staining down to a minimum. It really bothers me because I can't stand seeing them all white and beautiful and then see red or orange stains under their eyes.:mad: I don't have to worry about that at all with my yorkies. So for me, the only downside to a maltese is the tear staining. Sometimes you get lucky and get a maltese that doesn't tear stain, but a high majority do get tear staining. I hate the tear staining, but I wouldn't trade my maltese for anything and I still love the breed!! Can't wait to see more pictures of your gorgeous new little boy!! |
