I'm so sorry:cry: It sounds like you're doing everything right to me, but I'm not a breeding/puppy expert by any means. Sometimes these things just happen, and while it's not fair, there's not much we can do about it:( Again, I\'m so sorry!!!!! |
Oh no, this is terrible. I\'m so very sorry. :( I will pray for your remaining pups. |
I am so sorry! I know it only takes a second to become so attached to these little ones. We will be praying for your other little ones. God bless and comfort you. |
autopsy Can you get an autopsy done on one of them that died? Maybe there is something in thier system that they might find to help you know what is going on. I know its kind of expensive but they might find the answer and that is what you are looking for here so that no more die. Good luck and I am so sorry you are going through this! |
That\'s heartbreaking :( :( :( I know I couldn\'t live with losing one let alone 3....it does sounds like something is going on and I wish you all the best with the ones that are still with you... Rest in peace little sweeties.... |
i am so very sorry for your losses. this has got to be hard on you. take care of yourself and the little ones |
I\'m so sorry... I know how you feel... it\'s so frustrating and sad losing a baby... Since you\'re doing everything right and there\'s nothing apparently wrong w/ the puppies, I can only think it was a condition called "fadding puppy"... but it doesn\'t happen in all babies of the litter nor it\'s something contagious... it just happens without reasons... Keep taking care of the ones left... my heart goes out to you... Again... I\'m soo sorry...:cry8: Katiuscia & Maggie... |
so sorry to hear this, sending my prayers |
I am awfully sorry you have lost 2 pups and their mom. I can\'t imagine the heartbreak you must be feeling. I know nothing about breeding I just wanted to let you know there is someone else praying for the remaining pups to be safe. Carol & Buddy |
this is aweful... I am so sorry for your loss.. |
I\'m so sorry for your loss. I pray for the ones that are left and for YOU! You\'ve been working so hard, pouring everything you have into those babies. God bless, |
Im so sorry. You are hand raising correct? This is very difficult to do. If you are supplementing them with a bottle or syringe, I think I would try to give them a little at a time then hold them into a slightly down position, wipe the mouth and listen for congestion. If none continue feeding. then cehck again. Look at the nose and see if you see any bubbling too, Then if you see alot of moisure, or even the milk-- suction the lil nostrils, one at a time with a baby bulb syringe. Just my opinion but long term antibiotics, does more harm then good on tiny new ones. A lil might help but not daily twice a day for several days, just again my opinion. Try the heating pad on low, if they cry kick it up and see what they do. Make sure they have nnoooo drafts. You have had many of these suggestions earlier, and I apolize if this is repeat info. Good luck! And Im sure you are doing a great job, but you have a very hard delicate demanding job right now. Even the most skilled would have a miracle time to save everyone:( |
I\'m sorry you are having such a hard time. I forget if they were able to get any colostrum. That could be the problem. It must be so disheartening, when you have worked so hard. But I\'m sure it isn\'t you fault, I imagine any bottle fed puppy is high risk. |
I\'m so sorry :( Please keep us updated on the rest of the babies! Did the vet have any idea as to why this happened? |
I\'m sorry for the 3 pups but keep in mid that you have 2 more and a mommy that needs you to stay strong for them. I am also floored as to why 3 puppies passed. I would def have the vet check them out again to see of there was something he missed. Keep us updated and keep you head up for the ones you still have. |
