Oh we never tire of seeing that little face :) I'm so glad he is home and healthy and happy (well maybe a little tired)! Kisses to you sweet boy~

Hi everyone!

Mojo is doing great this morning! I swear, it seems like he had nothing done...nothing is affecting him or bothering him! WHEW! That is good!

He wore is "too big" onesie yesterday until we went to bed. He has been go to the bathroom and all is normal there. He has even had plenty to eat and drink and just feels good.

He hasn't messed w/ his stitches yet, hopefully he won't.

He didn't have any teeth pulled, so that is a big help too.......I think that is always harder on them. He did have his teeth cleaned (yay)

Soooooo, he should be feeling pretty good on Thanksgiving! Yay!

Thanks for everyone's thoughts and prayers and concerns!

I'm very glad Mojo is doing well!

Gigi will be spayed at the first of the year. She will also have to have some teeth pulled at that time. My vet charges $165 for the spay and $5 ($10 if impacted) per tooth. We have not talked about microchipping yet.

Glad to hear everything went well and Mojo feels better! They recover pretty quickly at that young age. My Peppi will go through the same in a few weeks...

HOLY CRAP $175 is dirt cheap!! I live in NJ and it cost me $375 to have each of my Yorkies Spayed and the price is the same male or female, AND that was without a dental cleaning. I have my Yorkies teeth cleaned yearly and it costs me for a basic cleaning around $200. Newman broke his tooth on a bone and between the cleaning and his tooth being extracted it was just about $400. Anyway, I'm glad everything worked out for your little MoJo. My little one goes in a few months to have her canine baby teeth extracted. I'm a wreck. She's only 3.10 pounds. She's been spayed already by her previous owner who didn't bother to get her baby teeth taken out so now she has to be put under again :( Elaine

AWW! Little Mojo! I'm glad he came through everything ok. I enjoy seeing his pics. Some day maybe I will see him out and about northwest arkansas! I talk to everyone I see with Yorkies!

Wow! It is crazy the price differences! Course, being in a small town using a small town vet, I get the small town prices! HA! Plus, I am there all the time, either w/ Mojo or the other dogs, so I think she knows I will keep coming to her and she has given me discounts before (like free nail clipping, etc).

Gotta love it when you have a good vet!!!! There's almost nothing better than that! Well, uh, you know what I mean! hee,hee

Maybe sooo........OR we should just plan on meeting after the holidays. Monica is in NWA too. I haven't seen or heard from Schatzie or Heather, so I don't know if they are still around or not.

Okay, I talk to anyone w/ a dog.....I just love dogs, no matter what they are. Everyone thinks I'm nuts!

One day, I was taking my grandmother and mother and sister to Eureka Springs and stopped at a garage sale (one of my grandmothers hobbies). Well, they all looked around, I sat on the pavement and played w/ the persons little poodle....he was sooo cute!!! I didn't even look around! HA!
What can I say?? Sometimes, I really do enjoy the company of the canine kind over the human kind! hee,hee

Hi Jen. Yeah, hubby will tell ya that I pay the fees of the Mayo clinic at our vet :confused: I think our vet is a bit on the pricey side, but all seem to be relatively high here in Jersey. It's good that your vet gives you a discount or better pricing since you are there a lot. I have three Yorkies and one Morkie that I bring there. I do get a multiple pet discount BUT I have to bring all four at once in order to get it:rolleyes: AND, it's a very small amount off to do that. I just can't bring myself to shop around though. I know that they get the best care and that our vet is up to date on everything. He actually spays/nueters using a laser. Elaine

I think if you found a vet that you like and trust and that does a great job, you better stick w/ them. It took me several offices to find a good one and I am lucky in finding one close to home, cheaper, but yet up to date on everything (and specializing in small animals - well, her first passion, now there are farm animals thrown in the mix) and that I trust! Wow! That's a lot in a vet, huh? Plus, she was the very last one, I almost didn't even check her out because w/ her being a small town more farm animal vet....boy, I would have missed out on alot if I didn't check her out!!

LOL, me too. I go mushy over any animal, really. We went to Starkville, MS for the Hog game over the weekend and I saw a baby deer that became road kill and it made me cry thinking about the momma that was probably wondering where her little baby went...it was right behind her I'm sure...my husband thought it was so silly that I got all teary eyed over road kill. Can't help it! Yes, we definetely need to get together after the holidays. AND...I don't know where in the world Sheryl/Schatzie have been!!??
