addition??? OK, if someone :grin2: were to get ONE more Yorkie pup :Puppy2: to add to the family :rollingey , what would be the top three things you would look for? (besides the health - that of course, goes without saying) Also, can you tell on a pup what type of hair it will have when it's grown? What would you look for as far as the hair goes? I don't really want another cottony coat:exclaim: thank you crazy omega :teethysmi |
The best way to predict the coat would be to look at the parents. top three things after health. 1 size, do you want large or small (not that there is anything wrong with either) 2 personality 3 coat |
1. Breeder 2. Size 3. Personality |
It depends of if you're showing/breeding your little one, or if you're just looking for a great pet within the standard! I look for: -Tight joints at the time of purchase -Proper coat and appropriate markings for their age -Good bite (yes, that's more important than people put credit on, as it could affect their health at a younger age due to not being able to chew and consume their food properly) If you've found the right breeder, the temperment should go w/o saying! |
Thanks for the tips... anything else I might miss????? omega |
