For those with 5.5lber & those in NYC (breakfast tomorrow?)
 
My first question is to those who have dogs around 5.5 lbs. I have no concept of this cause Thor man is a MOSTER (11 lbs). Tomorrow I am going to NYC to pick up Keke!!!!! I got my airplane travel bag today it's a small. It looks so tiny. I tried to fit Thor in, but he was too big for it. ANYWAYS, my question is, do you think your 5-6lb dog could fit into a 13x8 bag? It says good for upto 8lbs. I need your thoughts on this.

My second question is, would anyone in the city be interested in going out for a Saturday morning puppy friendly breakfast? We could get a group of us and have some coffee, breakfast, and of course yorkie talk!! Maybe that is pushing it! HELLO BIG APPLE!

OH my goodness, Hannah!!!! How SUPER EXCITING!!! I wish I lived in NY. It would be so much fun to have breakfast together in the Big Apple!!!!!!

Have a super safe and fun trip! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!!!!!!!

I didnt know you were getting keke. Congratulations!! I have a bag that is 13 in and Jewels my 6 lber fits in it

That sounds big enough to me - and you have a great trip girl !! This IS exciting and he's just a little doll ...wishing you all the best ! I wish I was still on the east coast cause I'd come meet you - heck - I'd want to go with you to get him !!

Oh man.. Wookie was a complete mess on the plane. I had to give him some stuff to knock him out, and it still didn't do any good.

But be extra sweet to the flight attendants and they will let you put him in your lap as long as he is calm and you are obviously in control of him.

I got to put wookie in my lap one way :thumbup: .. the other way, they said no to his cute little yorkie butt :thumbdown

I'm actually going to be in the city tomorrow! We're seeing the Radio City Christmas Show. I don't know if we could go to breakfast (my aunt and cousin and brother are also going :rolleyes: ) but it would be fun to just meet up for a bit!

Nope, it's a show! It's at the Radio City Music Hall (lol). If I'm not going crazy, I'm pretty sure it's around Rockefeller (sp) Center. We'll probably be getting in around 12 or so. If you're in the area around then, I'd love to chat with you for a little bit!
