Help please.. Molly ate my cats poop and has been throwing it up since. Can I give her pepto or should I let her get it all up. I am at the point of losing it myself. |
I would call the vet.. maybe she ate some of the litter... I could call the vet to be on teh safe side... |
Poor Molly:( I hope that she won't do that again! I'd say let her get it all out, and then when she's down to dry heaving and nothing more is coming up, feed her some boiled chicken and white rice. If she holds that down, she'll probably be okay. If the vomiting doesn't stop and she can't hold anything down, you should take her to the vet right away. Did she eat the kitty litter too? I don't know how harmful that stuff is, but I'm sure if you call the vet they'll tell you what to do. I hope she feels better:love: |
No she didn't eat litter. My cat stays in the garage at night. He has never pooped in there before. My husband let Molly in there this morning to play with the cat. He said she came around the car with the turd in her mouth. Oh, my goodness her throw-up smells soooooo bad. I will call my vet. They will open in about thirty minutes. The cat has had all of his shots. I don't think there is any thing to worry about I just want her to stop barfing. It is soooo nasty. |
Ewwwwwww!!!! If she wasn't so sick, I'd have to laugh at the image of her prancing around with that turd in her mouth like it's the grand prize:laugh: I'm thinking of her today:love:!!! |
Eating cat poop, horse poop or even their own poop is not uncommon. But I wouldn't think the poop would make her vomit. Are you sure she didn't get into anything else? |
Chachi has done this before. You can give her a little bit of pepto to soothe her stomach |
That is that only thing coming back up. Cat poop vomit is the nasty smell I think I have ever come across. We don't feed her anything but her puppy food. How much pepto can I give her. |
Yep, both Bailey and Tia have eaten kitty poop before. I haven't had any probles, except I won't let them kiss me :p . I have hear though that they can catch somethig from eating kitty poop that causes the runs. So keep a good look out. |
