annie is a sentry, brandi is a deputy, tye is a adventurer, and zac is a companion. thats all very true lol:D |
SNICKERS SAH - Rebel Your dog is a Spontaneous, Alpha and High Activity type which we call the Rebel. The Rebel is a High (H) energy, full blooded dog with presence and attitude. Its focus is narrow, strong, and often not on its owner. Aimless, free activity suits the Rebel. It loves to go jogging, have a wander and sniff about. BAXTER SBM - Dreamer Your dog is a Spontaneous, Beta and Medium Activity type which we call the Dreamer. The Dreamer is disorganised, socially and mentally. It lacks the energy to assert an active social challenge but may challenge a very easy going owner or dog over some prized resource such as the couch or a bone, perhaps curling its lip or snarling occasionally. It enjoys freeform pastimes such as watching TV or sniffing about off lead most of all. Both of these are pretty much on target. |
Butch is an adventurer, which really fits because he is into everything.. elli and Butch:aimeeyork |
So, did everyone find this suited their dogs?! I had a hard time knowing how to answer some of the questions. The real answer to a lot of them was "it depends". :D The first time I did Kiki she was a "Dreamer" which was DEFINITELY off. The second time I went more with my gut instinct answers for her, and she came up "Adventurer", which is closer, but the description didn't really fit. MAZIE'S, though...hers fit to a T! "Your dog is a Spontaneous, Gamma and Medium Activity type which we call the Companion. The Companion has the softest, most charming character for a family pet. They are funny, silly, laid back, subservient and obedient. It is rarely serious, is everyone's friend and its favourite pastime is to 'ride' the couch. The most unobjectionable combination of traits. Do not expect it to be a strong watch dog, athlete, or seem especially clever." That last sentence cracked me up, cuz it's true. ;) |
oliver is a deputy! |

Kitty is an SBH -Adventurer too!:) |
 They know her!!! This really describes Toto .... she even "checks" to make sure everything is in place ... gets her nose out of joint if it isn't! :p We watch her curious actions .... like at night before she goes to bed, she checks that her wee wee pad is dry, water bowl full & fresh, bed/blankie is in it's proper place [in the middle of our bed] .... if anything concerning her isn't properly arranged for the night she just sits & stares at us!! :) OAM - Director Your dog is an Organized, Alpha and Medium Activity type which we call the Director. The Director enjoys an orderly environment, strong, clear leadership and 'owns' defined small territories e.g. the home, car, owner or couch. The Director's goal is to control, protect, defend and maintain order in its chosen territory/command post. |
Here is what I got for Bengi! OBH - Defender Your dog is an Organized, Alpha and High Activity type which we call the Defender. The Defender's social position is ambiguous due its Beta (B) nature and it may appear to be a leader or a follower at various times. Defenders are flexible about social structure but their Organised (O) factor means that environmental order and clear rules are preferred. In the 'original wolf pack' Defenders could easily fill any positions vacated due to illness or accident. |

Jadens an Investigator! LOL SGH - Investigator Your dog is a Spontaneous, Gamma and High Activity type which we call the Investigator. The Investigator is a loveable, submissive, funny, even silly character that is happiest when obeying its leader or involved in freeform activity. The Investigator makes a great pet for active people. They are High (H) energy dogs that need exercise and love regular walks. |
Ellie is SAH Rebel,it does describe her quite well.:) |
That was so cute! Thanks! Pepper is SBH (Spontaneous, Beta and High Activity) - ADVENTURER. So true... Always hyper, running and getting into trouble once I don't pay attention to him. You know, the 'if-quiet-for-10-minutes-then-must-be-getting-in-trouble' type. |
I don't understand a lot of those words in the quiz, so I had to quit. |
