Absolutely! I keep Jackson's hair up and recently bought some cute Christmas bows for my little boy! Yorkies wear bows...be they boys or girls. |
Yes, our little guy wears bows to keep his hair out of his eyes |
If I had a boy he would wear bow. |
Getting close to that 100 mark! Here are a couple of references which show our Yorkies need a bow or two -- it does not say only the girls -- they all need bows for showing. So, if the show dogs need them, I figure our special babies deserve them too! "The fall on the head is long, tied with one bow in center of head or parted in the middle and tied with two bows." from the YTCA breed standard "The top knot and bow are musts. You can choose between a single bow right in the middle or two bows on either side of a straight part." from Yorkshire Terriers for Dummies |
WOOOHOOOO almost there:D!!!!!!! |
That does it...Tucker, my little boy, will be wearing some manly bows as soon as his hair is long enough! Teresa |
I vote YES for bows in boy's hair! If girls can, boys can. I agree, NOT pink! |
2 more to go and I still vote YES!! |
Oh come on let him wear a bow, it will not make you less of a man!!!!! |
four more votes for YES! I gave my yes vote already, but I asked the rest of my family and they all agreed that boys should wear bows too. :) |
My husband said as long as they are "manly" bows, he wouldn't mind:D 100!!!!!!!!! |
yeahhh!!!!!!!!!! I MADE IT! THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HELPED ME BY POSTING THEIR VOTE...AND AS SOON AS NICO'S BANGS GET LONG ENOUGH, I AM POSTING A PICTURE OF HIM WITH HIS BOW...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Boo-Yah, Hubbie!!!! And you thought no way would I get 100 posts...I told you YT members are the "BESTEST":D :thumbs up :bravo: :grin2: :yorkietal |

:animal-pa I have 2 male yorkies. Wynstn Too and Corky and they both wear bows. The groomer even puts them in when I take them to get their hair done. |
This is the "hubbie" and I just want to say I can not believe you guys are so adamant about bows in the boys hair! The difference in a tie and a bow is that the tie isn't in my hair when I wear it! But a deal is a deal. The pup can wear bows. I shoulda known that I was out numbered anyways. |
Aarya always wear a boy.....that also any color which moms like:) |
I have to tell you guys this, I put bows on my boys all the time as I said in my previous post. When ever people say : oh what a cute little girl: I reply, No, they are just dressed in drag. It gets a big laugh! :animal-pa |
:happyboun:happyboun:happyboun hubby gave in!! yay!! You'll see it's for doggies' own good:) |

please check out our new website for Christmas bows for boys and girls! www.sassypup.net Hello everyone, as promised we have a new website up....www.sassypup.net Keep in mind that although we will carry pet clothes, beds, charms, collars/leashes etc, the only thing available right now is Christmas/Holiday Bows just so that we can get them in on time for the upcoming holiday. There are about a dozen styles to choose from and as an introductory, we are offering $1.25 shipping for bow totals under $15. We will probably loose money on shipping but we want you to see how fablous our stuff is. This will change as we get up and running in Jan/Feb. You will find our full product line then. All our products are couture high end products at super low prices. Eg. pet coats will run $20 and you will find the exact same item for $30-60 each, these are high end stylish stuff. The pet beds will run $45 and you will find similar items for $80-$175. Bows: we hate it when we purchase bows that are loop-sided or poorly made. A lot of time goes into our bows, we spend at least 1/2 hour on each of them and fray treat then ends so they do not unravel, and we stiffen them to last. You will find swarvoski crystals in some items. Only the Christmas/Holiday bows are ready right now. Also, browse our pet beds and clothes. You can see what is available but you will not come in for another month or so. Clothes: you will find super tiny items )1-2 lb sizes up to 10lb sizes for your furbabies. We hope you enjoy our site. Come back soon to see new bows for every day as well as coats for those cold winters, beds, collars, shoes, etc. email us at info@sassypup.net if you have any questions at all! |
I Have A Boy And He Wears Bows. My Husband Said The Same Thing As Yours. But He Went Further And Saying What Example Am I Putting To Our 4 Yr, Old Son. |

Mine tried that, too! I told him that I am setting an example that it's OKAY to put bows in male dog's hair!! |
When we had a male yorkie, my wife put bows in his hair. I never gave it much thought. It does keep the hair from the eyes. Guess you could get a doggie biker do-wrap for him. :) |
Why not?! My husband is like yours.. make him read the breed standard and let him know it could always be worse, what if you put 2 bows in his hair?! Lol.. so I give you a big  and a definate YES to boys in bows! |
