Where should she sleep? I have an 11 year old Yorkie named Scooby who sleeps with us. My husband had him for years before we got married, and he'd always slept in the bed w/ him. We are planning to start trying for a baby in the next six months and plan to transition Scoob out of the bed. Tonight my husband is bringing home our new little girl, Antigone, and I don't know where she should sleep. I don't want her to sleep w/ us for the same reason, plus don't want her to pee the bed, but not sure where to have her sleep. I don't want to put her in her crate all night. If I just make her little bed nice and cozy and put it next to our bed will she stay in it? Where do your puppies sleep? Thanks for you help, I'm so excited to see her tonight! He just called and said he has her and she's really cute!!! |
Grayson is crate trained, I know you don't agree but he loves it and the door is always open he will go in to sleep anytime during the day for a nap and stays there all night to sleep! |
Ours are in and out of the bed. They may start in the bed and then under the bed in on a blanket or whatever clothes may be in the floor at the time. Good luck in whatever you decide to do. |
Our Maci is also crate trained, and she loves sleeping in there. We have her favoritie blanket in there with all her toys! Sometimes she sleeps so hard that when we come down in the morning she doesn't even hear us! :) You'll find something that works! :thumbup: |
Tika sleeps in a play pen. It holds her bed, pee pad, and food/water bowls. |
When I got my Bunny, I put her, her bed and all her stuff in the bathroom and baby gated the door.. but at that time,I was in a APT in austin and my bathroom was right in-front of my bed (it was inside my bedroom) so I could see her at all time when I was in my bed.... When I got my Bella, I put her in a big crate (big as in medium size), beside my bed, on top of the night stand... so I could see her at all time... That and she had to see me, or she would freak out! Now they have there bed (its a Lazy Pet Purrific Play Pens) on top of my bed. One is by my pillow and the other is at the foot of the bed. How spoiled is that!! having there bed on my bed lol!! |
Bailey sleeps in her crate, in my room right next to my bed so that she can see me and I can hear her when she needs to go potty :) She sleeps well and now only wakes me at 630ish ready for the day |
