I have 4 animals--2 cats and 2 dogs. As far as clothes for the cats--forget about it! Neither are interested. However they both have their share of toys and beds. The cat portion of our family includes: Sebastain --5 yo ,part Persian cat and Ariel--a 4 yo tabby cat. My dogs are the ones with the majority of equipment and clothes, especially my 4.5 month old Yorkie--Mickey--and she is a girl. Then I have a 4 yo Shih Tzu--Jazzy, also a girl. Not even attempting to count toys, because between all of them, I could open a Toys R Us---for pets! When it comes to equipment we have assorted pet beds, including my bed and their own twin bed in the pet bedroom! I also have for the dogs: 2 car seats 1 pet stroller (which they LOVE and I get exercise using it!) 6 sweaters (3 each dog) 2 ski jackets (1 per dog) 2 jeans jackets 2 hoodies 2 medium weight jackets 2 Santa costumes 2 Halloween costumes 10 tee shirts (Jazzy and Mickey) 2 pairs of pajamas (Mickey) 10 dresses/oufits (Mickey) 1 bathrobe (Mickey) 2 pairs of outside booties (Mickey--which she HATES!!!) 2 winter/snow hats Numerous, numerous hair bows, barrettes etc. This seems pretty normal do me. What do you think???? |
if this is normal, then I am SICK!!!!!! My dogs go naked. But, I might have to get Ceeby a winter coat. It was 41 here today and he was out for five minutes and nearly froze to death. I don't want him to get sick. His coat is a lot thinner than the others. i usually don't even let any of them out in the cold tho. |

In the meantime, I am going to use the Emperor's New Clothes ploy ... and see if anyone buys it. ;) |

I enjoy walking at least 3 miles per day with my dogs.; so a stroller is also needed. Jazzy (10 lbs) can walk about 1/4 of the way and then wants to ride. Mickey, at 4 lbs, prefers to ride the whole adventure in the stroller. Mickey gets chilled very easily and will shiver when the temp is the high 50s-low 60s. Therefore tee shirts, pajamas and dresses keep her comfortable without me raising the heat in the house. My animals holiday costumes, I will admit are frivilous. But they look soooo cute. Al other items of pet clothing/equipment that I own are needed and necessary!!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!!! LOL!!! |
I wasn't 'normal' at first... My pup had only a few outfits and a pillow for a bed. But now... after 3.5 months having him and too many hours spent online shopping and looking at stuff (I had no idea there are so many CUTE things for dogs !!:D ), let me see.... 1 bed + 1 'cave hideout spot' + 1 futon couch 2 carriers (I think he outgrew one though) + 1 bike basket 2 blankets (thanks Kristin! :) ) 2 baskets with toys and chewies 1 down vest + 2 light jackets + few shirts, a football jersey + 2 sweaters + bathrobe + shearling booties 4 harnesses + 3 leashes + a collar metal comb, flea comb, plasic comb, couple brushes, slicker brush and dematting comb (use only metal comb thou... lol) conditioners, shampoo, detangling sprays and CM wow... quite much now I realize |

LOL I think I'm obsessed, hehehe! www.sweetpuppylove.zoomshare.com Check us out and I think you'll agree:thumbup: |
