lawn chemicals Yesterday a rep from chemlawn came to my door and was trying to sell thier services of course. He saw that I had a dog and mentioned that they also have a spray to help rid the lawn of fleas and ticks. Has anyone ever heard of this or better yet used this? I want to make sure that I dont use anything that will poision or cause skin irritations to my dogs. sue |
Don't know about lawn service. But last year my dad's yorkie got poisoned by pecticide. What happened is my dad spray the backyard and keep his dog out of it the whole day. However, the next day he let his dog back to potty and his dog decided to munch on a blade of grass. Well, he started to vomit and had to be rush to the vet. It was caught early so he is okay but it was really scary for my parents. ps: my father doesn't spray the backyard anymore |
We use Chemlawn and I reviewed their pesticide info since I now have Sophie. To the best of my knowledge, it's pet safe. However, I do not know if I would be comfortable with their flea/tick spray. I'd feel much safer with Frontline or Revolution. |
Thats what Im afraid of my shep is sensitive to carpet fresh and certian rug cleaners so I dont want to chance another allery reaction. The first one was bad enough :( . Can someone reccomend something safe for weeds and dandelions? |
